Franc Moody are planning a UK tour in Spring:

26/2 - Dublin, 28/2 - Glasgow, 29/2 - Manchester, 2/3 - Bristol, 3/3 - Brighton, 4/3 - Nottingham, 5/3 - London, 7/3 Leeds.

One of my favourite gigs of this year seeing them at Thekla after only discovering them a week before the gig. Highly recommend!

Any idea on venue / pricing for London?

Not a tour announcement but Michael Stipe of REM releasing a charity single this weekend. Any chance he could start playing again and come back? It's probably slim as he's been busy with art/photography stuff I think, as well as his Fischerspooner side project.

He's doing a q and a at the royal academy in London Oct 18th.

I get there’s a lot of buzz about her, but those prices for someone with one album are fucking outrageous.

Partner and I managed to get tickets for her younger sister (teenager so HAS to go at any cost), paid £89 per standing ticket for the O2, absolutely ridiculous!

I wouldn't mind going to this if it was £30/£40 but something tells me prices will be significantly higher.

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
