  1. Placebo and Patti Smith seem notable omissions. Expected we'd see Richard Hawley too

  3. Yeah, Idles ain't headlining the Other Stage and the Thursday night of Truck fest on the same year. I'd count that out
  4. Ha! Regardless your contribution helps me sound really smart in the Glastonbury group chat pre-lineup day every year. So nice one, many happy returns
  5. Badge of honour to have the seal of approval from the sharpest Glastonbury nerd out there! Thank you sir. Can't wait for it all to age badly
  6. Potentially a very pedantic thing to question... do they ever just call it "Pyramid" as opposed to "The Pyramid Stage"?
  7. Disclosure in the middle on Other headliners, The National third there. Jungle, Justice and Jessie Ware all on WH. What else can we spot? I know it's probably BS but with potentially only 8 hours until the lineup it's fun to speculate!
  8. It's a lot of effort to blur out a fake, especially when the Other and WH headliners seem to check out with the current info we have
  9. Would make sense that SZA was booked to headline Other, Stevie pulled out, she got the bump up and they booked Disclosure as Other headliners
  10. Seems a bit soon for The Chicks to return
  11. Won't be Stereophonics this year. They've got no tour dates and Kelly Jones has a solo album coming out. He could play solo I suppose.
  12. Taylor Swift Olivia Rodrigo Lady Gaga Pink Stevie Nicks Madonna Potentially Raye if she keeps growing at the rate she is Doja Cat Probably not Blackpink, but they are big enough Rihanna At a stretch, Lorde Not Lana anymore thanks to her antics last year Then you never know when previous headliners such as Adele/Billie Eilish/Florence/Beyoncé might return. Most of them seem unlikely but you never know. Really exciting times. Edit: just realised someone did a list in the other thread and put in Ariana Grande too. Not forgetting by the time half of this list get the phone call there'll be new headline level female artists who we've not yet heard of
  13. Can we take shifts? All pitch in one minute's overtime for you?
  14. I reckon that's a 90% lock. Only others who could feasibly do it are Stevie N and O-Rod and I think they're both much less likely
  15. That's that then. Dua Lipa/Coldplay/Queens of Leon
  16. Frank Turner. BBC Introducing, Strummerville, Greenpeace and weirdly the Stone Circle, all in 2019
  17. Personally think he could sub SZA (according to my sources)
  18. The National are one of my favourite bands, but I'll put it this way: I haven't bought tickets to any of their tour dates yet as I'm totally expecting to pick them up cheaply at the time as they largely won't sell out
  19. Missed around 20 pages, is SZA headlining the Pyramid then?
  20. As long as we're all entertained in the long build up to announcements that's all that matters! At the end of the day that's why we're all here, whether we're kind of close or 90% off!
  21. I feel like we're all in need of a boost with no lineup this week. Given we're all on our final tether, here's a challenge: whether you like them or not (lord knows I don't) - say something positive about any & each of the following (@Gnomicide's list of possible headliners on Twitter) Coldplay - Love the farm, will do something special for the occasion Dua Lipa - High energy set, easy couple hours of euphoric dancing Stevie Wonder - Amazing opportunity for those young enough to not make 2010 (ie me and my friends) to see a legend of the game Stevie Nicks - Legendary songbird. Dreams on the Pyramid = limbs Madonna - What most of my friends are hoping for. No matter the setlist, it'll be a historic set if she played Olivia Rodrigo - young prodigy, seems bulletproof and perfectly set up to pull in a massive crowd and pull it out the bag Billy Joel - Different vibe from every other name on this list (aside from maybe Stevie piano wise), band will kill it The 1975 - undoubtedly have a massive light show Kings of Leon - good for them to build on their previous headline set from before their 2 most famous songs. No doubt Use Somebody on the Pyramid will be someone's "Glastonbury moment"
  22. @Acid_HazeGreat job! These take a lot of time, and I've realised it's much easier to point out the minor clues than the other 99% of great stuff. Would take that any day!
