Matt Healy's let himself go.

edit: forgot how truly awful that song was.

You owe ma boi Kyle 2 apologies for that post.

Dyou reckon they'll manage to get Hadouken to get back together to play before Klaxons?

Anyway back to headliners they should just get 1975 and Foals to co-headline. But not one after the other, get it down in one.

Who’s calling Foals a new band?

You make a lot of strange statements about people saying stuff without anyone actually saying anything...

No one:

Absolutely no one:

Absolutely no one at all:

Matt42: can we stop saying Foals are a new band?

Cannot wait for a Razorlight Sunday afternoon set in 2043.

The hill I’ll die on is that Razorlight s/t is the most underrated and unfairly hated album of the 2000’s.

Dunno if I’d die on that hill but I’ll go

part way up-great album

Just to see, would people be happy if they announced The 1975, FM and Arctic Monkeys as a trio?

1975 - not my thing and wouldn't watch them,  but I'd get it

Fleetwood Mac - undeniably a legendary band that have never played before, I'd absolutely get it and might well see them.

Arctic Monkeys - again not really my cup of tea and I wouldn't watch them, but they've not played since 2013 so it's not exactly like we get them every year. I'd get it.

So individually, yes. I could see any one of them headlining.  As a trio?  I'd feel it was pretty...dull tbh.

Dull was my feeling, the last anniversary was going to be U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder...all massive and different at the same. If you have Foals under one of them then take out FM and it could be R&L on any year.

Is this a new game; try and pick 3 headliners that folk would like rather than the old game of suggesting them one at a time?

I like the boldness of the approach and I'll be gobsmacked if there's a trio that gets universal support.

Everyone just make your peace with the fact that this is happening...

Rats I thought that we would get some dates around June which would give a clearer sign.

Definitely sets them up for a festival tour in the summer.

There are genuinely too many "never gonna happen" memes and gifs available for me to be able to pick just one to use in response.

    • Out of interest (I could look but being lazy), do Mad Cool repeat that quickly? They only played last year
    • This basically!, it's about as clear as day they'll be there.
    • Yeah there is no down time, I'm still tired and over thinking from last weeks work. A big reality check this week. If you just do it for the money you always will.
