Parody twitter is it? (I have no idea but it mentions an International Fart Festival in one tweet - now I hope it's not a bot!)

I can't think of a better way to announce your international fart festival than via a bot.

Apparently, according to Festival Info, Gorillaz and a few others have leaked. Gorillaz would headline wouldn’t they? @eFestivals have you had any runnings with these before?

Triptykon? Hopefully that is Tom G Warrior's tribute to Hellhammer that is doing the rounds this summer, lol!

Well obviously, I just want to know how people already know that.

Corbyn did a speech at the festival in 2017. They've had Tony Benn many times etc,

Assume Attenborough will be doing a speech about the environment and so on. Hes become increasingly vocal about it in the last few years.

Or he could be just plugging his new show. Or telling us when Dynasties is out on bluray.

Yeh it wouldn't be a massive surprise if he's there, cool though. So nobody knows why he's suddenly become a strong rumour?

There was a thread on here called ‘David Attenborough’, where the OP said there’s a rumour that he’s gonna be making an appearance.

It was Sawdusty Surfer wasn’t it? Not sure exactly what he does but he’s worked in the general Green Fields area for years I believe.

According to my Time Hop Coldplay were announced 8 years ago today. It appears I wasn't pleased!

Oooh, while writing this BBC 6 Music are blasting out At The Drive In - One Armed Scissor. That would be nice on the farm.

I was running in in El Paso a couple of years ago (their home town) and ran past a huge adult drive-in with a huge sign that proclaimed "couples welcome". Jesus...
I wonder if that had any influence on their name...

Im not hugely excited by The Cure but I like then enough Ill prob go see then and enjoy it (bar some unexpected mega clash). Only headliner Ill prob bother with if the current projections are correct.

No idea what ill do Friday night, Wu Tang Saturday and The Cure Sunday, ill take that, might just end up in the South East corner Fri.

Having missed him in 2016 (Foals/Muse) and 2017 (Radiohead) I'm rather hoping Billy Bragg will headline Leftfield again on the Friday.

I did wonder if he might be introducing a film screening at Cineramanamanammanaegdeon, similar to Depp.

Hopefully it's him in Kings Meadow on Sunday morning telling everyone to take their shit home the next day.

It very well could be a screening of Our Planet, the documentary by the WWF that will hopefully make anyone not shitting their pants and changing their ways do so: https://www.wwf.org.uk/updates/our-planet-trailer
P.S. I am well aware that my avatar is Randy Savage... The other WWF, not the wrestling one.

Don't even think they're gonna be there, Australian tour starts a couple days after and they've been told they're not winning anything so not going.

It won't have anything to do with not winning anything. They are on stage in Perth less than 60 hours after the Brits begins. Probably need to be out there before Friday with the flight....

    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
