Ok so how many artists have we seen play the friday  somewhere in europe and still make it to Sunday. Nobody bats an eye if youre even in Paris on saturday and play glasto Sunday. Them being active helps their case for now. Why is Wolf Alice allowed to be in Germany on the 26th and still play Glasto.

It’s much more likely that @Mwk525didn’t know that Wolf Alice are doing that (or even that it’s common practice) than it is that they decided there were different rules for different acts. Relax.

Looks like editors are out too. They are playing in Spain on the 24th.

That still gives them a good chance I reckon. Rules them out of Friday but they could still do Saturday or Sunday. Given they were on the 2020 line up still has to be a good shout.

Just saying. Theres a lot of acts doing that and travel has always been discussed when it comes to rumors and tour dates.

You can be ‘just saying’ and do it politely. Your previous post just comes across as you jumping down the throat of someone relatively new who hasn’t posted a lot.

Kaiser Chiefs are announcing something “ big” on Chris Moyles radio show this morning.

As fantastic as that is I’d temper expectations. Especially as it’s on Moyles show. Could just be another Elland Road gig and Moyles is a big Leeds fan as are the Kaisers obviously.

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
