    2018 New Music

I like it as much as anything they've made recently (since Invaders I'd say). Looking forward to seeing them at Victorious, it's been a while.

    Boomtown 2018

Mighty fine way to use up whatever tread is left on those dancing shoes.

    Other Stage Delay Towers

Counter arguments would be: 1) why should you miss another act you might want to see just to wait for someone on later in the day? and 2) if the crowd is the same size, there will still be the same amount of people further away from the stage and therefore away from the speakers

This looks like good new for @vintagelaureate.

    Victorious Festival 2018

Yeah - odd booking for me too. DJ in the middle of the day seems uncharacteristic and not a huge name.

    Mutiny 2018 (Cancelled)

Surprised to read that it'll be on next year if I'm being honest, with all of the problems they've had (not limited to the high profile drug deaths/illness). https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/our-region/portsmouth/mutiny-festival-will-return-to-portsmouth-next-year-organisers-confirm-but-under-a-new-name-1-8568514

    2019 Headliners

@dentalplan maybe with a scooby do voice? I did genuinely have to google them though.

More like Rak-Who? Am I right?

    Boomtown 2018

No idea, a lot of people are suggesting Andy C on Facebook as well as @hoils above. It's likely to be someone big in the DnB world I'd have thought. I think last year most stages played until just a few mins before midnight.

    Boomtown 2018

That quote is from the BT facebook page with a picture of Sector 6 so I assume it'll be there

Any ideas on who this surprise Sunday headliner is anyone?

    Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

I'm not sure if there are any 'normal' priced tickets left but a fair contingent from here are doing Boomtown which is a lot of fun

    Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

Not a bad shout. I wouldn't pay to see them but would check them out if there was nout that I couldn't miss.

That is quite the string of dates. Not often you get Portsmouth and Southampton on the same tour.
  16. Because they didn't play anything of the first three albums? I went expecting that and still left disappointed. That poppy WOOOOOAAAHHHHOOOO one went down well though.
  17. I'm normally of the 'if you don't like it walk away' mentality, but I had my way for the while rest of the weekend. Turned out none of us really enjoyed it though. It had the recipe for such a good night though, especially with all the collaborators there.

    2019 Improvements

To be fair I think that (plus some added wizardry) is how Arcadia is so loud inside the circle yes gets quieter very quickly moving away
  19. Disclosure let me down during their headliner set. Stayed for the duration due to the company I was in. Wouldn't cross the road to see them for free now.

    Boomtown 2018

I hope to make the meet this year, hopefully won't be stuck in the queue again

    Boomtown 2018

Hi and welcome Jim! I think I've heard that this chapter is the last in the current story line, I wonder if they are taking the opportunity to start a new story in line with a new venue if they are being forced to? No harm in partying like it's the last chance to do so just in case.

    don't mess with the badgers

Proof that Badgers are more influential than Kanye West.

    No re-entry in transmt

Victorious has a similar policy and I've read reports of it bringing in the region of £10m to the local economy via shops, hotels, taxis etc. The local shops are likely to have the best weekend of their year. I think the only local businesses that do badly out of it are alternative entertainment venues because most people are at the festival. Somewhat ironically the only all day event that I've been to which allowed pass outs was the first Victorious festival because they underestimated how many food units they'd need so every place had a lengthy queue and/or ran out of food so they had no choice but to change their stance during the day.

    2019 Improvements

Would be good if the new stage featured at the Arcadia thing in London comes to the farm. It'll still be dance orientated but another fairly large capacity option to spread the demand (of which there clearly is in excess). I'm not sure where they'd put it though.
