And btw, just to back it up the person I asked has just commented on the Twitter link 😂 (because I told him it’s there)

Just came here to post that 😄

Stand down.

Given what we know about Kendrick and his touring habits, I wonder if Roskilde have just moved on and booked someone else while Glastonbury are happy to wait a bit longer on him confirming his plans.

Not a good sign though if fests start moving on from Kendrick though. Does he have form for showing up and doing one offs?

I wonder who they would turn to if Kendrick ends up not touring. Dua Lipa is an obvious shout and would probably draw a bigger crowd than Kendrick but Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Paul McCartney doesn’t really strike me as a standard Glastonbury headliner trio. It definitely doesn’t have the same balance that Kendrick brings.

Edit: Just after I posted this I saw @brettredmayne’s post about a Coldplay world tour…

    • I am as well not a fan of these side by side stages. too many people at the same places and you have always people around you who wait for the other stage...
    • If only they could get the Bits area back (and add maximum 5k capacity) the site would feel less crowded.
    • Blame it on the side-by-side setup. There are cases where it works well - got a great location in front of the middle screen for Bexter Dury-Big Thief-Little Simz, just had to move about 20 meters each time for a great location. But on most cases it sucks
    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
