  1. Simply having a wonderful listmas time... It's almost December 1st which means it's that time again; time to prepare the definitive eFestivals Glastonbury Forum Top Ten Albums of the Year. As with previous years, the idea is that you post your lists in this thread, I'll compile the results and post the results prior to Christmas. Due to some (OMICRON permitting) Christmas travel I have planned this year I'll be aiming to share the results on Wednesday 22nd December. (NOTE: this year I'm doing albums only, i.e. not tracks too. If someone want to take over the TOTY they're welcome to do so). As with all organised fun the best part is the rules, and they are as follows; Please list both Artist/Band name, template below (makes it much easier for the C&P to excel) Listing your album as #1 pick will give it 10 points, your number #2 pick receives 9 points, #3 receives 8 points etc. etc. The ten albums with the most overall points will be our top ten for this year. You're allowed to list more then ten albums, but only your top ten will be considered. 'In No Particular Order' lists can be included, however each song/album will receive a maximum of 1 point and lists of any more than ten albums will be discounted. Deadline for submissions will be Midnight GMT on Sunday 19th December. And that's it! I'll give this thread a bump every few days to keep in active so take your time and have fun! ALBUMS OF THE YEAR Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name Artist/Band name - Album name (The idea is to keep this thread for lists, so would recommend we keep the more general discussion going in @Brave Sir Robin's existing Albums of the Year thread). What on earth does class have to do with believing in covid-denying bollocks?

This is still a bonkers opinion though.

I'm not being selective, no. I think all covid deniers should be called on it, whether they happen to be popular or, well, Ian Brown. I have a feeling there's a happy middle ground somewhere in between spending all year in the efests bin fire threads and being a covid-denying moron.

How about the covid denying within the last 18 months? Is that cool cause she's flavour of the month?

I don't care if they're homophobic, covid deniers, better that than Lammo-endorsed indie landfill!

Doja Cat initially defended her past remarks. She stated, "I called a couple people faggots when I was in high school in 2015 does this mean I don't deserve support? I've said faggot roughly like 15 thousand times in my life. Does saying faggot mean you hate gay people? I don't think I hate gay people. Gay is ok." In March 2020, Doja Cat received backlash after saying on Instagram live that COVID-19 was "only a flu" and that she was not scared of it She sounds fucking horrible.
  10. Scotland is a country with a devolved government, its not analogous with the regions/cities of England you mentioned
  11. It's telling that the only time Scotland is usually mentioned in this thread is in relation to Labour's chances of electoral success. We're an afterthought to most, even our political allies in England. Independence from rUK (and defacto the EU) in 2014 is a completely different prospect from independence from rUK (with a prospect of rejoining EU) now. I hope we do go. If nothing else it might give the English left/centre left the shake it needs.
  12. It shouldn't be a difficult question for a member of his shadow cabinet who campaigned to get him elected
  13. Been listening on Spotify this morning and they never sounded better than they did then. Will head into town to pick up the vinyl tomorrow.
  14. "Kendrick says he can play next year! Needs to be on the Sunday though" "Nah, the locals will never go for that. Get Imagine Dragons on the blower."
  15. Some interesting comments from Macca in this video. Favourite sandwich is the bagel, and he often eats two. Anagram of bagel is Able G, he has 2 = Able to G = Able to Glastonbury. It continues with the contents: Marmite = realises his booking with delight some and turn off others Lettuce = farm Hummus = is a dip = the MenDIPs Cheese = Cheese and Grain Tomato = farm, again English mustard = England's greatest condiment = England's greatest festival Macca TBC
  16. Aye, got a feeling The National are just adding some additional dates around the rescheduled 2020 ones.
  17. Interesting/surprising number one. I'm working on my list atm, and I have to say that's its the first time in a good few years that I don't already have an idea which will be my number one. Usually I have it narrowed down to 2 or 3 by this point but this year its wide open.
