    Glastocam!

Cherry picker has been moved to underneath Pyramid this morning.....suggests annual inspection about to commence pre-dressing.
  2. I really hope the Cornish isn't disappearing.....Sunday morning Bloody Mary in the Cornish is a Glastonbury tradition for us!

    Glastocam!

It's appeared in the last hour....could we be about to see something posted on there? 🤔

    Glastocam!

The key thing is that it wasn't there on the last webcam shot on 15th March!

    Glastocam!

Yes I think you're right....the shadow would be right for a pole there rather than where I thought 👍

    Glastocam!

Ooh interesting....could be but the only thing is that in that spot it's mainly south facing and the end of the building makes the very far right view (where you can see Steanbow dairy unit and across the A361...) very difficult.

    Glastocam!

I'm pretty sure it's on a pole where I've marked below.....the view directly towards the Tor is across the silage clamp which you can see is empty on the Google Maps image below. Stands to reason that if there is work going on with the shed then it'll be off/down I guess.
  8. This is above and beyond. God Speed @balti-pie🙏
  9. I did. He's replied asking what has happened so I've told him it's a guess that they didn't get a pitch approved, and that I expect an ode to be written and debuted on Friday in Left Field.
  10. Tragic news...... there will be no Crumble Shack at Glasto this year. It's over 😭
  11. Once the rain eases off a little and the water table drops a few inches it'll only take a few windy days to dry sufficiently to avoid a quagmire. It could probably sheet down until a week before gates open and still be fine if the weather did an about turn at that point.
  12. As a pensioner I'm waiting until Sunday to pay 2 x balances and get the 47p interest I can earn between now and then.
  13. Schedule 7 of the 2023 Traffic Management Plan (linked at start of thread) refers to prohibiting a right turn from the A361 into A37 from 0800 on the Monday before the festival. The right turn in question is required to get to East CV parking if you were to approach Eastbound from Glastonbury and through Pilton village. Although the main A361 Eastbound through the village may itself be open you may find that on reaching the junction you were then forced to take a left turn towards Shepton Mallet, and to then do a 360 at the next island to then head south down the A37 (past the junction you've just turned left at ...) towards East CV access. This would not be a significant diversion and assuming light traffic on Tuesday would be feasible for you Your alternative idea of heading South East to Baltonsborough to then join A37 northbound would also be feasible as this route is not subject to any closures, but is a longer route.
  14. Not aware of any map.... although I seem to remember someone on here marked them all up a few years back. Is there any particular route etc that you're interested in? Being local I might be able to advise.....
  15. Yes....where the Crown was sponsored by Budweiser if I remember correctly.
  16. Talking of lies Eavis say's "It'll be the best one ever" every year, and it never is. Charlatan.
  17. ...and what's with all this push to fill the place with girl bands? Every bloke knows there's been no decent music from any chick since The Reynolds Girls aced it with "I'd Rather Jack" in 1989. F*cks sake.
  18. The glass stacking units appeared on site after the 2023 festival, and we've had news since that Genosys will reappear in 2024, so I'm sticking with the reborn Genosys theory myself. They're essentially just dumped inside Gate C alongside prefabricated stairs and a couple of pallets of bits and bobs so it looks myself very much like they were delivered and are now just waiting to be shifted into place during this years build tbh rather than having been already used on site for 2023.
  19. Yeah that's definitely the planes we saw yesterday. One of them had it's wings removed but the curved tips were unmistakable. I wonder if we're going to get some flying/climate change installation....?
  20. Boom....just woke this morning and had the very same thought!
  21. Beat me to it....that would be eminently possible.
  22. Cheese & Grain next Saturday so hopefully they may give the farm a shout out while local.
  23. Faithless now moved to start of bottom line.
