  1. Beat me to it....that would be eminently possible.
  2. Cheese & Grain next Saturday so hopefully they may give the farm a shout out while local.
  3. Faithless now moved to start of bottom line.
  4. The current licence restricts 9 x Stages and 7 x Venues to operating from Fri - Sun only. Which Stages/Venues those are isn't specified in the Licence itself but is on a separate Licence Plan that isn't public. Pretty certain it extends further than those on the poster therefore.
  5. Most recent EMP for 2024 Festival is dated 18th Oct 2023. https://somersetcc.sharepoint.com/sites/SCCPublic/Community/Forms/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2FSCCPublic%2FCommunity%2FGlastonbury Festival 2024 Event Management Planning Document.pdf&parent=%2Fsites%2FSCCPublic%2FCommunity&p=true&ga=1
  6. Because this is eFestivals.....Emily can't invest in new socks without someone on here knowing about it. Changes to licence T's and C's are bread and butter round these parts.
  7. The current licence doesn't cover the main 16 Stages and Venues at any time other than Friday - Sunday.
  8. No "Nick Mason's Saucerful..." even with an obvious #GSH in his schedule. Either he's a TBA or is still p*ssed with ME and has led us up the garden path 😒
  9. Obvs more to come......eg James self-confirmed but nowhere to be seen at present.
  10. Haunted....big style. I'm a quite cynical person, and not easily spooked by such things, but I'm not keen on the place.....
  11. Sure is. Assuming they have been accepted again for this year the Crumble Shack is conveniently located just opposite the Left Field tent on the path that leads towards Pyramid. Choices of fruit and toppings. Heaven.
  12. Sadly with nothing this way until September all hopes look to be on a one-off trip 😕
  13. The link doesn't actually show the shop in Shangri-La though....it was on the left if you entered from the far end of the railway track...pretty much next door to the Shangri-Mart spoof supermarket and the place where they were selling prints etc. The charity shop did have a printing facility for tshirts but it wasn't up and running when we were in there. It was definitely a Traid charity store though....my buddy manages a chain of charity stores across the south west and he knew a couple of the folks running the place in there.
  14. Less 'w*nky hipster shop' and more genuine charity outlet I'm afraid. I bought a terrific shirt for £10 actually. https://traid.org.uk/traid-hits-glastonbury/
  15. Fingers firmly crossed for Crumble Shack again this year 🤞
  16. Yup that was in Glasto Latino.... there was a Mexican Cinema next door which did great margaritas while showing Mexican political documentaries. It was really atmospheric with flickering wall lights and the like 👌
  17. We got into Heaven in 2013 I think it was, like you say we had to take boots off but they gave you these really cool Heaven branded bags to put them in. We were told Jesus was coming by an angel so we hung around until about 0400 when this tiny Australian guy in robes appears on stage and does a very sweary routine about being Jesus himself....wanders around the audience offering salvation, absolution etc and telling non-believers to 'F*ck off'. Very funny. Think it was this guy..... https://www.themoviedb.org/person/3617045-imaan-hadchiti
  18. Where was that? Sounds like a right laugh 😅
  19. Huge best wishes and massive Glasto vibes heading your way. You've both got this smashed 💪
  20. I was at that Bruce gig too....15th June.....we had pitch tickets but started off sat at the back in lower tier free seats. The sound back there was so bad we ended up moving at least halfway up the pitch before even the volume was sufficient. I've not been back since so I'm a bit concerned we've got AC/DC and Taylor Swift there this year. Playing all of "Darkness...." plus the acoustic "Thunder Road" to close made up for it though 🙂
  21. I think he's pretty particular whenever he plays tbh. I still remember the quad sound he brought to the farm in 2002 as being top notch, and that's 22 years ago now 👌 😯
  22. I'd normally very much agree (Wembley is utter pants tbh...) although the best sound and acoustics I've ever heard was at Berlin Olympic Stadium for Roger Waters doing "The Wall" back in Sept 2013. Granted it was a crystal clear still evening and we were centre pitch seated but the sound overall was something very very special.
