Yeah, i saw a gig advertised for the Digbeth arena a few weeks back, just a car park space that is ideal to put a gig in an open space. Digbeth is a shithole so that's quite upmarket lol

The so shite it's good glory of things like this PB fest can be summed up by this from the article on BBC news:

Anyone actually go to the PB festival? I'd be intrigued by any feedback.

Simply Red are touring next year, not sure when. Pop them into the legends slot.

Thought The Big Moon were superb. 

Agree that 10 new song is pushing it but we did also get 24 others as well so I didn't feel cheated from the back catalogue.   I think they did 27 songs the next night so we definitely did well.

Also agree about The Big Moon - shame the set wasn't a bit longer but they went down very well.

The tour starts in October 2020 so hopefully that rules them out

Re: Digbeth Arena - it's actually a pretty cool place to have gigs.  I saw Garbage there last year and really enjoyed it.   It's a good use of the area.

I think Digbeth has a lot of cool parts actually - it's certainly becoming a bit more 'hipster'.   Plus it has the Night Owl which is a decent post-Institute night out.

Yeah, hadn't seen the full list of dates when I posted that. Someone at work said it was only gigs in England announced but I guess they were wrong

I've got an email today saying if I pre order the new Who album I can get pre access to the sale for their new tour.

How quickly do you think the Who tour will sell out?

I'm conflicted as I've seen the Who post Moon and the Ox a few times and thought they were brilliant every time (sadly too young to have seen the original line up). But tickets start at £73 which is pretty steep. And I don't know if I'll like the new album or not, really it's their music from the late 60s and early 70s I love.

Also got an email offering me presale to Greenday, Fallout Boy and Weezer tour. Which I'd so go to if it didn't clash with Glasto and I'm still tempted to buy tickets in case I don't get Glasto tickets. Pretty sure I could sell them if it turns out I can't go.
