Starmer is a horrible human being - evident well before he became PM. Can't stand the sight of him.

 

His stance on this should come as no surprise whatsoever.

 

Interesting to see what's said, both verbally and on the screens, when Kneecap do take to the stage.

Was a public service announcement in conjunction with amnesty international (and other respected organisations).  The set on Saturday is not going to be shown live by the BBC, so enjoy it if you are there.

Plenty of people who do agree with the politics will also be elsewhere. Kneecap don’t do much for me, musically. I stand with them politically, though.

And plenty others like me who don’t agree with the rhetoric of their police but will always defend their right to free speech.

Just seen this on the app... wondering how early you need to get there to guarantee seeing them? I think most people who want to see Kneecap will want to see Bob Vylan so the field will be quite full by 2 I bet... not that I'm f**king there!

They've blown up due to recent media attention. Very difficult to move artists around within a month of a festival

Err not so sure I agree. Maybe within like a week it's too late in the game. But it's been clear this set was going to attract more people that Holt can hold for a good long while. At least a couple months. 
 

R+L moved Eillish from the tent to main stage years back for example, so it can be done.

I wonder if the BBC had any influence in them not being moved, I'd imagine a bigger outcry if the BBC did not broadcast the stream for the Pyramid Stage allday.  I think it's easier to drop a band on a lesser known stage.
