As promised on these boards previously, I'll be returning with my one man show "Drunk Guy Staggers In Circles At The Bottom Of Muddy Lane" to critical and commercial indifference ;)

Word online that The Libertines self confirmed at a show last night. Was anyone on this website there and able to confirm?

I was at the gig and didn't hear anything to do with Glastonbury, not to say it didn't happen but there was very little crowd interaction during the gig. Gary did address the crowd at the end though.

I just had a look at the recent posts of the guy claiming this on Glasto chat and in the last couple of weeks he's had Biffy,  Madonna, Bob Dylan and slipknot all down to headline. Something tells me he may be full of shit!

And he won the ticket ballot!

I'm suspicious.

Confidence man are playing according to Noel Gallagher on Steve lamacq show ,they are supporting him next year for his shows also

I thought he said they were due to, but he said ‘come and support me on tour INSTEAD’ ?

Either way, I assume he was bluffing.

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
