Only seen the FLC back in the day at the Liverpool Royal Court when it was standing downstairs and you could smoke. Most people got stoned off the smoke I think !

Cant wait to see them at Glastonbury.

Depressing scenes a couple of years back when it looked like Q-Tip and the lads were a shoo in to headline WH and they cancelled their European dates.

Yes sir you have it correct. I gotta clarify that for me their music is mainly inoffensive, so I don't hate it but yeah I certainly don't love it either and given we have limited time on the earth I wouldn't choose to spend much of mine listening to it. As for can I kick it, surely it owes everything to the walk on the wild side sample, a song I do love, but a song I'd also rather listen to.

I don't like ATCQ either.  Can I Kick It? is alright but I'd never chose to listen to it.

I think I misunderstood. I think I assumed you thought it was offensively bad. One of my absolute favourite acts you’re talking about there across any genre couldn’t comprehend it.

There’s a small village near here, Chalford, and each year they hold a glorified village fete , called ‘Chalfest’. FLC ‘headlined’ a year or two back, I reckon that makes them willing to play pretty much anywhere.

FLC tend to only do occasional shows, but yeah, they don't seem to be too ego-driven about it.

Crowd size at Glasto is something different to that.

Dry Cleaning are great, got tickets for them in a few weeks but glad they're at the farm as well. As said above I wouldn't really call them Americana, they're very much rooted in the uprise of talky post punk.

Agreed. I think FLC will get a substantial crowd. Last year it seemed as if anyone with any 90s or 00s name recognition was rammed.

I've seen Orbital twice since they came back around and is really enjoyable. Would probably see them again if they played Glasto

I've not heard them, and they may be the greatest band ever, but Dry Cleaning is absolutely one of the worst band names I have ever heard of.

That and Jock Strap.
