Fair dos. Maybe not his own stuff but I do find there is often a lot similar and it just isn't to my taste at all. This soft jazz/hiphop fusion 90s stuff, tribe called quest etc. Repetitive, smooth and exasperatingly low tempo, demanding that i chill out, and I absolutely refuse, they can all fuck off, i'm not part of their tribe and if i were a criminal i'd be a very serious one

I think you’re the first person I’ve ever seen openly say they don’t like ATCQ. You don’t even like Can I Kick It? Really!

Yes sir you have it correct. I gotta clarify that for me their music is mainly inoffensive, so I don't hate it but yeah I certainly don't love it either and given we have limited time on the earth I wouldn't choose to spend much of mine listening to it. As for can I kick it, surely it owes everything to the walk on the wild side sample, a song I do love, but a song I'd also rather listen to.

Depressing scenes a couple of years back when it looked like Q-Tip and the lads were a shoo in to headline WH and they cancelled their European dates.

I was heartbroken at that announcement. Really thought it was going to happen for short while.

Nice spot. Going to take the chance it's the South London post-punk/Americana 4-piece, rather than some actual cleaners, and add the former to the end of the playlist.

Oo. That sounds interesting, I'll have to give them a listen.

last (I think) time they played was west holts mid/late afternoon - and it was packed, and went off big time for scooby snacks.

Can't really see them playing Avalon because of that crowd size.

There’s a small village near here, Chalford, and each year they hold a glorified village fete , called ‘Chalfest’. FLC ‘headlined’ a year or two back, I reckon that makes them willing to play pretty much anywhere.

FLC tend to only do occasional shows, but yeah, they don't seem to be too ego-driven about it.

Crowd size at Glasto is something different to that.

Agreed. I think FLC will get a substantial crowd. Last year it seemed as if anyone with any 90s or 00s name recognition was rammed.
