how many drugs do you have to be on to watch him.

Saw him at Reading last year ..... I wasn’t on any drugs, hardly knew any of his songs, wondered why I was even wasting my time giving him a go as I don’t particularly like him, he is a pretty rubbish performer on stage .... and yet I really enjoyed it!  Go figure 🤷‍♂️

Every time I hear it, I think of Lidl, and imagine they have offered him a fortune to license it. If he fell on hard times, I wonder if he'd do this rather than reform Oasis...?

For me, All Around The World is their nadir. A mediocre song that is pointlessly long (and then has a pointless reprise). And of course, thanks to a million buskers, I never feel the need to hear Wonderwall ever again. ever.

This reminds me of coming out of a NGHFB gig and there was a busker right outside playing Champagne Supernova (which wasn't on the setlist for possibly the first tour in forever). I've never seen anyone rake in so much cash in five minutes. They must have had to pay/fight/owned a gun to get that spot.

I see your Little by Little and raise you More Than Words by Extreme.

I really think Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud owes a lot to More Than Words. Particularly the strumming pattern (is it just me?). But then maybe Extreme nicked it from Marvin Gaye without getting caught.

I still love Extreme. I know they've never been cool, but they're just so damn awesome.

Arguably a band with some of the best hair in the business between Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt.

Pornograffiti got played a lot in our house :D

Agreed. Nuno Bettencourt is so one of my favourite rifftastic guitar players. I really though at the time that Extreme were going to be the new Queen.

Haha that red wine and lemonade mix was a good laugh. Totally forgot about that (go figure) until you mentioned it.

Were we hanging out or just coincidence?

As for Post Malone my friends were on acid but it was so hot it didn’t work.

Based on the comments on this thread, doesn’t seem like their previous were very life affirming.

I dunno. You walk away thinking 'The world is politically broken and we're heading into climate disaster - but at least I haven't just shat myself onstage in front of 10,000 people.'

Wiley...? The whole Stormzy vs. Wiley thing going on right now feels like a publicity stunt to me. Could be like a year apart battle. Who can do the Friday night Pyramid UK Grime headline slot the best? Or could he do a similar Other sub slot as Stormzy 2017 and Dave did.

More chance of Jo Whiley headlining.

Didn't Wiley accuse Michael Eavis of being racist? Or words to that effect.

I remember expressing to the "Godfather of Grime" how ridiculous that was and him blocking me on Twitter. Man's happy to beef with Stormzy and Dizzee but he didn't want none of this smoke.

Without necessarily wanting to whack the hornets nest (okay, I kind of do), now that Foals have been announced as not-even-first-on-the-headline-line for Kendal Calling, I think that "yes they are definitely big enough to headline Glastonbury's 50th" argument has probably been put to bed.

Good few weeks of civil war fun though, eh

Are the headliners not in chronological order?
