I did find this tour break incredibly suspicious. For the benefit of the doubt, if she is playing Glastonbury, what shows could be slotted into this gap to make it work?

I imagine looking at that if she was playing Glastonbury, Glastonbury would be the first date of the European tour.

Rock Werchter maybe? Don't know too much about the rumours for that one though.

She’s already got a date in Werchter so it rules her out of the festival.

There’s definitely a gap that could be plugged. I’m just not sure how.

Ah fair.

Maybe she's not playing Glastonbury so there's no gap to be filled. Also important to note that she's playing Firefly fest in America the week before Glasto, which isn't listed on those dates yet.

I’ll be elsewhere for the subs except maybe Noel. I for one think Noel into Macca will amazing. Everyone together having a good sing along which for my crew hasn’t ever happened.

Does Noel playing much Oasis?

Was 2008 shit? Because 2010 was superb.

I didn’t see either but I remember a lot of people on here saying 2010 was a bit of a mess due to Matt being shitfaced, but then I enjoyed Jack White so can understand why that might’ve been enjoyable for some.

indeed. they didn't smash it by any means, but it's funny reading the thread from that time and how many people thought it went well, compared to most now making out that it was some kind of trainwreck.

True, but some people will legitimately have changed their mind. That’s happened to me with festivals sets on a few occasions (Kasabian, Phoenix, ELO) where I enjoyed it through the haze at the time but when the dust settled, downgraded it significantly.

Haha, nah 2010 was great. I’ve seen him much more pissed as well.

I’m sure in the years leading up to 2017 they were always around though and weren’t booked. Probably be the same again this year, maybe they just like touring early summer.

just checked setlist.fm, 2013 and 2016 were the only years they could have done it really.

2010 - played Glastonbury touring High Violet

2011 - still touring HV so wouldn't be playing again.

2012 - not touring

2013 - fair enough, played the Roundhouse

2014 - no festival (played BST)

2015 - not touring

2016 - fair enough, headlined Latitude instead

2017 - played Glastonbury

FWIW - I don't think they'll play this year.
