  1. Agree! She will be a really great afternoon gig 😀
  2. Was thinking that over the weekend, feels like it might be a wet one this year for sure. WHEN WILL IT STOP RAINING!
  3. Glastonbury belongs to me and my ex in my mind. Being alone last year and this was/is still incredible and still Glastonbury. But there is always a huge part of me that wants to see and speak with them, but it’s no longer possible 😔 I'm expecting a dip of sorts when I get there, but hopefully everything will be alright. You never know what magic is in those fields 🙂
  4. Used campervan fields for the first time last year, would strongly encourage arriving Tuesday if you can as it's a great atmosphere. Having said that though, I wouldn't have thought you will be horrendously worse off arriving Wednesday in terms of your walk to and from the fest.
  5. Jungle have gone from "that would be alright" to my Friday headliner for sure - will be a proper party! Black Pumas also on my must see list
  6. Paid x6. 7th Glasto and counting 😇
  7. Why though? People just feeling a little less confident in life? I think you might be on to something but it’s a hard feeling to quantify
  8. I totally agree that to stay in business and relevant is huge. I will be absolutely buzzing in the build up there is no doubt. It just feels a tad flat at the moment
  9. I think this is a fair and interesting take. My first was 2014 and it felt like there was a buzz every year for new things going on. 2019 had loads and since the fallback on the crane, there hasn’t been a great deal of exciting innovation. It’s obviously still incredible. But even stages like Cabaret and Acoustic book the same acts each year. Maybe that’s why the lineup reaction was a bit muted, because it’s rare to get big surprises on smaller stages the last few years I think.
  10. There’s a definite lack of buzz though (lineup reaction notwithstanding). We are now only three months away!
  11. I was thinking this. Something definitely feels off in general
  12. Future Islands are in America over Glasto I think 😣
  13. Yeah but that could be said for loads of people over the years. Elton and Macca recent examples. Just can’t believe when she’s so active, and in the uk the week after Glastonbury, that they wouldn’t have booked her. Would be a great booking obviously!
  14. Probably been mentioned on this thread, but SURELY we aren’t gonna miss out on Stevie Nicks?
  15. Hak Baker? Expecting him to be there and thought he’d be on the poster.

Who’s to say something hasn’t changed though? It’s pretty unusual to make that claim. And interesting that on the poster they are beneath the line.

This is brilliant. Been needed for ages to draw a crowd somewhere on Thursday.
  19. I mean, you may not like her, but she’s one of the best selling artists of all time. From wiki: “She has sold over 100 million records, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time and the best-selling female artist in country music history.”
  20. Great stuff. Hopefully more people have such insight.
  21. Utter drivel. Little Simz is possibly one of the most exciting British acts out there.
  22. This is so true. We are spoilt with incredible once in a lifetime headliners, just so happens there isn’t one this year. But the talent on there is still incredible. Plus, it’s Glastonbury!
  23. Same moans as every year - people even said this sort of crap about Paul f**king McCartney. Will be an amazing week, loads of amazing artists on there! Proper buzzing for it now, only three months to go!
