Fantastic! Going for subbing The Cure - was pondering on who could fill that spot and they seem perfect for it. Made up with this as I wasn’t expecting them to be there this year.

He’s clearly a fan of the festival, but as @Ashl says, it’s not really a confirmation IMO. 

Even after the track, Jo’s comment is just wishful thinking I think.

Yeah i didn't take it as a confirmation but pretty sure they'll be there. Not too sure where else they could play, they did Eotr last year.

He said he hopes they're there and got all giggly about it. He then went on about how he'd finally got to enjoy the place properly, stayed up all night and it was "like a life-changing experience" and "to come back to Glastonbury will be... something I really hope happens."  Not quite a confirmation but very close.

Confirmed he wants to play. Just like Foals, Jean-Michel Jarre, and presumably Dumpy's Rusty Nuts.

Sadly a band saying they'd love to play is quite some distance from a confirmation. In fact that seemed like a confirmation that they're not booked, at least not yet.

Heard something about this earlier and positioning of 4th down on the Pyramid, can't remember where I saw it now. I think your dreaming if you reckon they'll sub.

Well the entire point of that post was to say his info probably wasn't accurate as he'd been told Vampire Weekend will be 4th down on Sunday, which is when the legends' slot is.
