Nice to know that Firefly date is the last american date, the two dates inbetween glasto we've known about for a while now but this defintely adds to the idea that glasto will kickstart all their europe festival dates, I certainly hope so, really worried they'll just play Citadel mid july

I'm sure Sigur Ros did Citadel and Glastonbury in 2016 so no reason they can't do both.

Vampire Weekend on the Pyramid last time was one of (perhaps THE) most disappointing crowd experiences I've ever had at a festival.

We were in a relatively decent spot but it was just full of people waiting for THAT song.   There were points where we wouldn't even hear the band because we were just surrounded by groups of people shouting amongst themselves as if the band were some annoying distraction.  They all faced the stage and went mental for A Punk and then quickly turned around again and got back on with their own conversations once it had finished.

I don't really mind a bit of chatter or whatever at festivals but this really was unbearable.

Love them but I'd be giving them a miss if they're on the Pyramid again.

Good thing about them headlining a stage other than the Pyramid is that (you'd think) it'll just be people who actually want to see them there.

Happens a fair bit at the Pyramid, especially that time of day and even more so on the Sunday! Really hope they headline Other on the Friday

Agree that their Pyramid slot last time was extremely underwhelming crowd wise. Very spacious at the front too.

And there really wasn't much competition: Of Monsters And Men > Editors on Other, Sergio Mendes, Michael Kiwanuka, Jessie Ware.

    • I wonder if he's going to get into the States for the second match against England. Seems a bit weird having players missing for certain matches but not others as the world cup moves around.
    • Quite lucky as I’ve no interest in Halsey at all so I’ve got time for some food and drink before getting in there.   But yeah… thinking I’ll have to leave early to get a decent spot for Gorillaz
