That is fab, Mardy, and only increases my excitement to see VW again, but... The piano in Harmony Hall is the secret to that song's brilliance and, unfortunately, the band are not in tune with it

Love the new video for Sunflower, although the song is maybe not quite as good as Harmony Hall. Tempted to get tickets for November, but think i’ll wait till after Glastonbury. Don’t expect them to be that much in demand. But what a great band. Really looking forward to seeing them.

Sunflower is such an earworm for me, found myself going Doob be doob  be do doob  all day like some sort of anthropomorphic crime solving dog

Same, will catch them at Glasto then make a decision whether to go again.

yep, 2 for 2 for the new tracks. I've liked them, but never too over-awed with them. they were one of the first bands that my young kid would recognize right off the bat and he got into them and I may take him to see them at Madison Square Garden, but perhaps it's my aging years, but i've just gone back and replayed lots of their earlier stuff and realize i appreciate them quite a bit more nowadays  - - a decade later - than I did previously. very very much looking forward to seeing them for a 3rd time on the farm ('10, '13 previously)

      As someone that always likes looking at this stuff, compare the BBC opening titles...     ... and the ITV ones.     Tbf the BBC intro is better than the ones they used for the last World Cup, which I thought were pretty bad and on its own, the BBC choice actually isn't too bad. It's not as good as their pinball one for the last Euros, but the concept is reasonable. But let's be real, the ITV one is better.

      I'm only judging by highlights but considering that I saw a lot of anxieties from US fans about them getting it wrong after several bad results in the last year or so, they very much had it on opening night. Might be as much about Paraguay being a long way from the team that beat Brazil and Argentina in qualifying though.   Canada also doing something in a World Cup other than lose and arguably be good enough to have beaten Bosnia means reasonable start. Think they might regret not winning though.
