stuartbert two hats
I don't mind being a heretic - that farm could do with some rain. Green is much better than yellow. Nobody is there yet, we should be seeing green, green grass!

Should be a wee bit this weekend - presumably less construction over the weekend too, so perfect timing I'd of thought

The occasional thunderstorm between now and then is a certainty from what I'm seeing right now, but significant, prolonged rain lasting days? Off the cards by the looks of it. Whether the pattern changes is unlikely but possible. I should caution that every single year I am a hopeless optimist over the weather, last year I made the ridiculous claim that we had "dodged a bullet". Not going to change though. jyoung
Torrential downpour and possible flooding this weekend according to the met, so the ground should get a good watering. Hopefully nothing too extreme but lets get it out the way before the festival! Incidentally a bit of rain right now would be great for my spinach and celery but I doubt that's a top concern for Glasto weather watchers. I read something about EE putting in some permanent infrastructure to handle the amount of 4G traffic, so it could well be something to do with that. Tommy101
That Ra*n last night must have been a blessing in disguise. If it's anything like here they got a downpour that the ground has been crying out for.
scaryclaireyfairy
A few more overnight sprinkles to keep the grass green would be good. We need the grass healthy in case it has to help us out. Plus yellow grass is spiky to sit on. And I'm useless with a mallet.
