I've never known mud like we had last year!!! It was like being on Planet Mud. My legs were screaming by the Saturday. No let up with very little areas to sit down and the rest the legs.

Bin liners are essential for a muddy festival, turns a muddy spot into a resting place, saved me a few times last year.

Charm x

last year was my first glasto and I was on my own.   I will absolutely never forget the walk to oxlyers in that mud after 12 hours (should have been 3/4) dragging my properly rubbish trolley getting redder and redder in the face I really thought what on earth am I doing?! However its really random how quickly in such an amazing place full of like minded people you adjust to situations that you would normally run a mile from! After a few hours I can honestly say it didn't really bother me - with the exception of when my welly got stuck in the mud in Shangri-La and I fell - not a pretty sight haha!!!

I figure that after last year I could cope with any weather!!

Think this was taken Saturday on the walk between Pyramid towards Leftfield last year. Remember it taking a lot longer than usual because everyone was confined to using the walkway to avoid sinking

Ok I'm far enough away to have completely different weather to the site but it's been stonking down here today, even yesterday that was supposed to be mostly wet was actually pretty good and we even missed the storm that submerged Yeovil, they just need to move the festival to crewkerne and all will be good.
