    Satellite pic.

Was just about to say the same. Absolute waste of space. Thought we had found our new permanent home in 2022 just about halfway up the path to the right of Wickett. The field never filled up even before they expanded it, so no idea why they felt they had to.
  2. fitted sheet, pillow and duvet all in a vacuum bag shrinks considerably. Get a little rechargable bed pump to shrink it down again for return journey. My crappy pound shop vacuum bag split last year before I could repack it, but its easier on the way out as all the drink has gone
  3. This is what I want to know. Thought we had found our new permanent spot in 22 but last year they had given the whole area over to hospitality. I wouldn't mind but the hospitality area was pretty empty, absolutely no need to extend it
  4. Saturday night in 2010 we swerved the headliners and headed to SE corner early Came across a queue of about 8 people outside a tent, with two fellers on the door (well not really a door, just a flap that was held closed by the blokes on the door) every few minutes one of them would stick his head in, then say room for one more and let the next person in. we decided to have a look seeing the queue wasn't too bad, and probably queued up for about 5 minutes. when we were finally ushered in, we walked into a completely empty tent, only about 8 foot square, with a flap at the other side that just lead back out into the festival. everyone who fell for it hung about for a while just to laugh at everyone else as they came through I've no idea if this was just down to a couple of punters who found the empty tent and had a genius idea, or whether it was actually planned, but it was hilarious.

    2024 Headliners

I think the point is to wind you up, and it works as you respond with a snarky comment every single time he posts

    2024 Headliners

I think you are just getting old to be honest, it's 16 years since your first of course the crowd is going to be getting younger, and so it should, it would be doomed if it wasn't
  7. My bucket hat just exploded
  8. 2 groups out of 3 for us after not a sniff in the coach sale
  9. I had 6 web pages open across different browsers and devices, I noticed the couple of pages that I just left to refresh on their own actually reloaded the page where as the ones that i was doing manually didn't even flicker on refresh
  10. Gladys Knight as legend might explain Radio 1 saying she's a rumored headliner in a quiz the other day
  11. My friends who had this time packed everything up in the afternoon and left it all at the lockups, then just swung by and picked it up on the way out. Seemed to work out quite well for them

    2024 Headliners

I think the fact they were up against two worldies at the same time doesn't help with the memory of it, I know a couple of people who wished they were elsewhere on reflection
  13. I was at both, personally I would put FA way above Bicep. FA was possibly one of the most emotional sets I've been a part of at Glastonbury, wasn't even a particularly big fan going in either
  14. Set of the weekend for me, what a beautiful couple of hours that was
  15. Ah man, can't believe I was duped into having the time of my life with dancing, tears and hugs.
  16. I think the volume of people that visit now days makes the micro venues and alleyways impossible. Used to be able to stroll round easy enough when they were there, a few years later it got really busy but only till about 3 or 4am, now it just doesn't seem to let up at all. In fact there's a second rush hour about 3 when the rest of the site shuts down.

    Favourite DJ Set

Actually, looking at the clashfinder I must have been at Skindred, could have sworn that was a lot later than 11.00

    Favourite DJ Set

I had Denis Sulta pencilled in to see, no idea where I actually ended up, was it busy?

    Favourite DJ Set

For me it was Lauren Lo Sung at Greenpeace Saturday night. Never heard of her before, just followed my ears and it was possibly my favourite hour of the weekend.
  20. copy/paste or even better autofill will be essential
  21. Lizzo for me too, I blame it on the really hot day, my brain melted
  22. I genuinely thought this was about drugs until I read your reply
  23. No mistakes from me, stand out was the katsu curry I had somewhere left of the park exit, maybe top of pennards. Probably nothing to write home about during the day, but middle of the night I declared it one the best things I've ever eaten
  24. Re: parliament/funkedelic we sacked it off after about half hour and had the best night I've ever had in the se corner. Think it was the last year of the alleyways Biggest mistake this year was trying to chase the high on Sunday night. Just ended up a bit monged out and done a ridiculous loop from San remo to se corner then back to lime kiln for bed. Hit the absolute sweet spot Thursday, Friday, Saturday (never take anything on Wednesday) I should have learnt by now
  25. Incredible set. I can see why he wanted the sunset slot, it's not a night time bangers and lazers show. The whole thing was so much more emotional than I was expecting. Would liked to have seen him in the Temple, but absolutely no regrets seeing Fatboy.
