Was the Faithless Thursday thing just an error? Or....?

No... they actually posted 'first ever live headliner on a thursday' so I'd say it's clear they realised the roadblock / danger implications.

Faithless clearly moved after they realised what a shitshow a Thursday set would be with little competition

I highly doubt that. They don't need a Faithless social media post to realise that it would be bedlam.

From https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/the-glade/

"This year will kick off with the triumphant return of Faithless to the Glade. Faithless recently teased their exciting return to Glastonbury with a Thursday night headline slot at The Glade Stage. With unprecedented hype for their 2024 comeback the band will now be marking their return on an even bigger slot on Friday night, kicking off the weekend with an unforgettable performance."

That's an absolute corker. Lots of big names but a lot of seriously great talent further down the bill. Love Remain will be amazing, as will Shy One and Logic1000. I could be spending a lot more time at the Glade this year than usual!

Glade Area is independently run so I think the area organisers put it out there but it was vetoed by GFL.
