June, especially the end of, is set for record temperatures this year.

Was just on the news, so it must be true !

And i thought there was only fake news left in the lying press.

But i talk a scorching fest over the muddy one. ;)

I like the way we've all managed to forget about last year and just consign it to history

No chance. I will never forget the looks I got off everyone while I was busting my moves to New Order in the mud.

12 months on and I still can't decide whether they were looks of bemusement or disgust.

I enjoyed myself anyway and will never forget last year.

I'm trying to remember if there have ever been any years when it's been glorious weather in the lead up to the festival, but then suddenly rained quite a lot over the weekend?

I wasn't there but was 1998 a bit like that?

Wonder how the ground would hold up if that was to happen?

Oh yeh!!

how could I forget!

Remember it being roasting hot now!  Also I remember sitting on the floor for Brian Wilson on the Sunday so it must have dried up reasonably quickly!

We hadn't good weather fire weeks before the festival and on the Wednesday and Thursday, the ground was absolutely solid until the storm came. Friday and Saturday where overcast and berry muddy but when the sun came out on the Sunday the mud dried up within hours in most places.

Dos this mean that even if it does rain a bit, the water has plenty of space to fuck off to?

The water table is very low at the moment. Which is obviously good news. IF we get any rain this weekend it will drain quickly. Now how long it will drain for....well let's hope we get minimal rain in the next weeks.

well watch will keep you informed

My fav Glasto vid happens to be from 2005.  The freaky weather features quite heavily.
