Ffs, coming in this thread to see there's people trying to act like My Chemical Romance don't have some stone cold bops.

That's probably one of the least bizarre things that's been going on around here.

I know the odds are meaningless really but I'm still confused about who is betting enough on The Strokes to headline that they're now 4/7.

It was battleborn because he's fed up of us suggesting self-fellating acts like The Cure every day.

I feel like it's because every time someone posts about The Strokes odds, someone else puts a couple of quid on it and the odds keep shrinking.

Shame they don't do cash out on these. I'd put money on the outside ones, spread believable lies about banjo salesmen and cash out when the odds get close to evens.

Oh, @battleborn, why are you so angry. It’s a festival of performing arts, and a harmless forum. People have different tastes. That’s part of what’s great about Glastonbury.... there’s plenty for everyone. You should try it... you might just surprise yourself.

Wow, I saw the hot replies and thought somebody knew something.

So to summerise, somebody heard a rumour (which I can't find on google) that MCR are getting back together (can't see it myself) and people are taking great pride in never having heard of them (really ?) whilst saying Glasto is for everyone (as long as it's not MCR).

Well I may as well stick my two penn'orth in.

1. They won't get back together, I can't see Gerard doing it after speaking very publicly about how it affected him.

2. They couldn't headline Glasto, not the main stages anyway.

3. They have some banging tunes.

4. They are brilliant for boogieing to at a festival, I got bored watching Ozzy at Download  and wandered over to the Karaoke bar (I think that's what it was called) and had a wonderful time dancing to MCR and others.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
