How dare you suggest such a thing. FWIW a festival that doesn't announce it's headliners before I can buy a ticket will never get a ticket purchase from me when there's so many that aren't lucky dip in a sea of shite.

Considering you were trying for a ticket I suspect you are full of shite

Glasto would be better than most of em if they didn't even have any bands on tbh.

Used to hate MCR when I was a stroppy  teenager. In hindsight, compared to the dirge that was around in the mid-late 00's they were streets ahead. Came back from the pub once suitably pissed and watched their R&L performance which seemed like great overblown fun.

Same here. I saw Korn out of protest at Download when they headlined. TBF Korn were ace, but their headline set seems to have become almost folklore so I do regret not seeing it!

I wasn't trying for a ticket. Left that to people who actually want to go. My money will go to a festival I know the line up for some time early next year thank you very much.

I'll refer you to one of your many topics that you have started where you are looking into trying for tickets but of course you would only think about getting tickets for a festival that announced its line-up beforehand wouldn't you....

    • There’s a few in there which could go either way or I’m not bothered if I miss but think that’s now be pretty set.  Few rubbish clashes like Kasabian/Loyle plus Reytons/Pixies/CMAT but I’ll head with the lads to the most popular one.   (And yes no Byrne or Twigs, just can’t into either)
    • I saw somewhere they were advertising Lewis' day as him live on Glagow Green and only mentioned Amy Mcdonald and CMAT as support, 0 mention of the festival  I completely agree this will probably be the last one which is a shame because the first 2 seemed so promising and now its turned into middle of the road rubbish with acts you can see everywhere else  Anyone know if the BBC are covering it next week as it'll be fascinating to see how full (or empty) it is
    • Did anyone catch Viagra Boys last night? A rollicking good set, with a little more free jazz than I expected.   if you’re up early, Walabi is doing a super job in the Cupra Pulse. There till six.

    • They really dropped a bollock on their lineup this year. They went with Richard Ashcroft because he did well as Oasis support - But realistically, you're not getting 50k people in a field to hear the 4 or 5 songs they know at like £70+ a ticket. Can't get my head around the Kasabian booking, either. Finsbury Park was a bold move for them, and yes it sold out, but I think you're more likely to see people make the journey to London if they want to see them rather than Glasgow. A second similar capacity show was always going to be a big ask for them.
