Why do people want Gaga? and Strokes make sense. The information we got off a efester, Grimshite saying twice on radio. Nailed on now.

Apart from the fantastically entertaining spectacle, incredibly catchy tunes that everyone knows and a general vibe of outrageously inclusive positivity I couldn't imagine why anybody would want Gaga over some blokes stood bored and motionless while mumbling a near two decade old album into a microphone in an obvious and insulting exchange for a large payday.

what was the date of that interview where Ga-Ga said "oh...i can't say anything about Glastonbury...." was it Fall 2016? Would that be way way too early to have been something that was on the cards for 2019? Did Bradley Cooper tell her "so, I'm going on the pyramid stage with Kris Kris next year to shoot a spot for the movie... you're going to be in the movie.... it's going to be massive, and you'll get a top billing at Glastonbury the next time they have it... after you join me for my park stage set in the afternoon"

Stunning turn of events.

Tbh, I'm thinking 1975 unless we've definitively ruled them out.

However, my heart still says a feb/March announcement that Lady Gaga is bringing her Enigma Vegas show to the Pyramid stage due to her dates.

My head says theres no way her Vegas residency will allow her to play outside of that deal, especially a televised gig.

    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
    • Loads of people have to listen to music they don't like all day, while at work!   Not much different.
    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
