The Spice Girls advert for dancers confirms the contract commitment until 16th June 2019 (i.e. the final Wembley date) so it doesn't look like they'll be active beyond that.

All the more reason to do separate early announcements for 2 big female solo acts. Add to that say Lana and Christine on the Pyramid and there's no issue with female representation in big slots.

The media seemed to run with the 'in talks' thing but I reckon that's a misquote. Mel B said 'it's been talked about' which tbf it has. Any Tom, Dick and Harry could (and did) suggest they may do it. It being talked about doesn't quite translate to in talks does it? But as I said, everywhere seemed to jump on it.

I'll just point out that that would have been the original plan before they were 'in talks' for Glasto.
