Logged on to efests, saw Headliners was 'hot' and thought there was news. But no, just fucking Radiohead lists all over again

Can't you all just create a Radiohead Circle Jerk thread and keep it all in there?

It's a bold move poking the radiohead bear.  Their vengeance will be swift and furious.

It's like Godwin's law of Nazis getting mentioned on the internet. As the length of an efests discussion grows longer the probability of a Radiohead album ranking approaches 1.

The lack of speculation creates a vacuum that must be filled.

It was either this or Simpsons quotes.

Jesus, they are my personal preferences. I really dislike a Moon Shaped Pool and the rest are really close, especially The Bends and OK Computer and Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief. Sorry if I am wrong but I thought it was subjective.

I apologise if I offended anyone.

You can't leave us dangling like that. Which particular moon shaped pool is it you dislike?

Just read back the last few pages.

I'm at least as much of a Radiohead fan as the next man, but by Thom's droopy eye, ranking their albums on the 2019 headliners thread when they played last year?? It's about as OT as you can get and that includes Simpsons quotes. There must be another thread for this, surely?

Meanwhile, more Richard Ashcroft news. He’s taking on Jody (son of Allen) Klein, and he wants his money back:

“Fucking Mr. Junior now has taken over that company. I’m coming for that money,” Ashcroft said. “Someone stole god knows how many million dollars off me in 1997, and they’ve still got it. In terms, in normal basic terms, I don’t care where you come from, that’s serious matter. So I’m telling him, I’m telling Allen Klein Jr., I’m coming for my money, man.

“It’s like, The Rolling Stones don’t even have the balls to fucking have it. It takes me on my own to fucking do it. The Rolling Stones can’t even have fucking have ABKCO, that’s how fucking bizarre it’s got. You’ve got a super fucking big Mack truck, and they don’t even want to turn left and run over the bug. They don’t even want to go turn left, but I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m happy now.’ I understood.

    • Pretty sure some will be more than that.
    • It's a shame for lots of bands cancelling tours due to poor ticket sales but I'm one of the culprits as I'll wait now closer to the time as theres always a chance of a seat filler or Twickets for half the price. If the bands charged a reasonable price to start with then they'll sell out regardless. Look at Paul Heaton, £39+fees tickets for arenas where some bands are charing £150+fees for the same arena. Prices for drinks in those places is a joke too so many pick and choose.
    • Might just wait it out for the summer shows that got mentioned tbh
    • Good on him i think, though it depends on whether he really does love the music (like Steve Davis) or is just moving into it as a bizarre career option (Gok Wan, from the ten mins i observed from the side of a field once, stood there with no idea whats going on)
    • Better Man, Black maybe. I guess was the same for Metaliica.   They do have a history of bringing on some big guests, for example Pete Townsend and play Who numbers. My gut is they would prob pull it off but they'd get a section of crown leave after a bit. I don't see it happen even though I'd love it.    Other Stage would be immense.   I seem to remember Emily Eavis watching at a Wembley arena night and if it was regular gig with more random unknown fan favourite songs she saw she prob thought not suitable for Pyramid.
