That will surely mean glade too. Maybe another week of drip feed : / was really thinking the big one was coming this week but i now think there's more areas that will get their own bits before the whole thing next week.

The silver hayes lineup was a bit of a damp squib as loads of names with no stage or day gives you very little context and therefore little ability to get excited. When it all finally drops i think it'll be more relief than anything round these parts!

Yeah this. I appreciate Glastonbury does things their own way and the theory is to give the smaller stages more publicity. However it's making it very difficult to get my Glastobaiting going when I have no idea what chance I have of bring able to see any of the names on these long lists of acts.

I know 1st June was supposedly the date for the Who announcement before it was leaked by the Sun but I reckon thats gonna be the date for the full lineup.

Not sure if anyone is aware of Blossoms, starting to make a bit of a name for themselves

They've just posted saying 'announcement tomorrow 8am', probably won't be Glastonbury related but you never know..

I think we will have another week of nothing but small announcements for other stages, hope I'm wrong and they surprise us with the big announcement with stage splits.. My other hope is that they are working on someone special and are waiting to tell us the good news (highly unlikely! But I had a dream about it last night...)

am guessing the glade will be a separate announcement, I dont think there are any smaller stages they could announce?(all seem too small)

am thinking pyramid/other/west holts/john peel/acoustic are part of the main poster so wont get separate announcements...

That's the first time I've seen Foo Fighters properly. Bland well-produced mass market rock music with nothing to make them any different to any other bland well-produced rock automatons. Im now more convinced than ever that the obsession some on here have with them is either an in joke I don't get or a mass delusion like the emperor's new clothes.

I'm with you. Formulaic MOR shopping centre rock.

Reckon we will get something tomorrow? Think we will as announcing leftfield on a bank holiday seems odd

But the glade seems to think they are getting an announcement this week.

Seems a little unfair if they do a full announcement and the likes of glade, shangri la, Park etc don't get the time to shine for a few days.

ahhh shit, The Foo's are going to be great

Watching their set from yesterday back now. Crowd looks a lot more interested on TV than they were in real life! I'm only really a casual fan so - apart from no The Pretender, the song that first got me into them - that setlist was absolutely bob on perfect for me. Can't wait to find out how I feel after the 2hr+ marathon with other songs that I maybe don't know so well tacked on. Edited by Zac Quinn

They were great at Reading a few years ago & Grohl's voice is even better. They are going to drop kick their performance all the way to Burma.

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
