Is Grand Central really big enough for the Prodigy? 😬
-
Like lots of others it seems, Im a huge huge fan of their first 2 or 3 albums, and their new sound and Alexs new style of singing just doesnt do it for me at all. So I opted for Hot Chip who Ive seen before, and I know smash it every single time, and they did just that. And now that Ive watched AM back on iplayer: no ragrets. Alex Turners singing sounds like Jimmy from South Parks rendition of 12 Days of Christmas.

Despite their music tastes, they clearly "got" Glastonbury, and loved the atmosphere.
-
Assuming people are meaning TPDTV and theres not a TBDTV I dont know about!
-
Its not just dance music though, it seems like they dont listen to any music outside mainstream rock.
-
Tbf in every video they just end up in a silent disco or bar singing along to Mr Brightside and Bohemian Rhapsody. Its weird to me that thats what people want to do at festivals when they could do the same thing any weekend of the year in pubs and bars all over the country but hey ho whatever floats your boat.

Oh dont worry I still think D&B was overrepresented.

Saw some great bands late at night at the Bandstand, Rocket Lounge, Sensation Seekers and Truth. And apart from Truth, the crowds were fairly small at the other stages. I love a rave but I saw more bands late at night than I did DJs
-
This. Instead of 5 billion stages playing the same subgenre of D&B at the same time can we please get some more hard music.
-
I didnt really see any DJ sets which blew me away. Main Phase b2b Bakey was so packed it was hard to actually dance. Booty Bass at Firmly Rooted on the Friday night was probably my favourite set.
-
They were so good! We started the festival with Showhawk Duos acoustic covers of dance bangers, and ended with B:raves brass covers of dance bangers.

LDR doesnt actually have Instagram or Twitter. Probably because of her fans..

Best - Poutine, actually better than a lot of poutine Ive had in Canada. Worst - Fried chicken place near the Other. £14 for 3 small bits of bland chicken and chips. Rip off. Gutted I missed this Cajun chicken place everyone is raving about. And never got a chance to try the BBQ Brisket place. Their huge smoker thing looked so good.

I like how the people around me (me included) were going "who?" but as soon as he started singing the chorus, everyone knew the words! (me excluded, still had no idea, but it was a pretty good song tbf).

My only frustration is the growing realisation that I need to start going to the gym asap or Im going to end up with back and knee problems. My lower back was in pieces by Friday 😭

Saturday was the only day that was too hot for me, and its a shame that it made the circus tents unbearable. Theres definitely areas where more outdoor shade is needed. Really f**k all to be found around T&C and Acoustic, and a long walk to more shaded areas in that heat isnt the answer.

Sounds like abuse to me mate
-
OK I think its time to stop feeding the troll
-
Shouldnt have included them in your "list of legacy acts" then. One common trend Ive noticed with deranged LDR fans on Instagram especially is how quick they are to tear down Lizzo despite her having absolutely nothing to do with any of this.
-
Ah yes. The famously aged acts Lizzo and Lewis Capaldi.
-
Stood at the other stage waiting for Lana . f**king poor show.
-
Looks fantastically moody!
-
Thanks. Going to pack some buffs then!

Not been to a completely dry Glastonbury before, does it ever turn into a complete dust bowl? Boomtown last year obliterated my throat for weeks afterwards. Was like razor blades every time I swallowed.
