Which one did they film? I thought the first night was the bad one?

I think both were filmed. The first one was for the Familiar to Millions DVD and I think the second one was aired on SKY. Liam went out on an almighty bender after the first gig and was trolleyed by the time he took the stage for the second one.

Surely Blossoms could play Manchester as well?

Planning on going to London, and not interested in Courteeners or Blossoms, but surely Blossoms would be 3rd down on the bill at best?

I mean if it was courteeners and blossoms at Manchester, supporting oasis, it would be the two bands I've seen the most supporting my favourite band so yeah, here's hoping.

Liam fray keeps sharing Oasis vids on his stories which backs up the source

I can confirm Blossoms are third on the bill.

Someone re-posted Neil Kulkarni's blistering Gallaghers shoeing last night

To be fair, I find it hard to argue with either the article or the comments in the podcast.  I was caught up in the Oasis zeitgeist as a young man but the crowd at their gigs was f**king awful.  With hindsight, I really wonder where all the fervour came from.

Right, we went on the first night then I'm certain, as remember it being on Sky.

Even the first night at Wembley which they released on DVD isn't the best (might have been amazingif you were there).

They had been fighting on the tour, which meant Noel would only play the UK gigs. Liam's voice had also took a dip. Much better at the start of that 2000 tour, when they done the likes of Jools Holland and Japan, which were televised.

So do we think that this Oasis reunion could hurt Glastonbury ticket sales?

No.

Glastonbury tickets are oversubscribed anyway.  I can't see it having any effect but if it does, it will be soaked up by the pool and it'll still sell out in the normal way.

Can not think of any reason why it would - Can you show your working on how you came up with this question

1,000,000 people spending upwards of £150 6 weeks (?) before T-day. I’m not suggesting Glastonbury won’t sale out but surely it’s gonna dent demand a little bit.

In the same way the Eras tour kiboshed sales for Glastonbury 24? I think it sold out eventually

Not gonna debate this but think this dwarfs the Eras tour on every metric you could think of

But not in the numbers that purchase actual tickets ?

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
    • It's certainly gone more that way, but then they went completely in the opposite direction and had Cat Stevens.
