That’s my top 5. Next two would probably be The Hindu Times

and D’You Know What I Mean?

Also always really liked The Shock Of The Lightning from the final album.

Can only here Same Size Feet by the Stereophonics when i hear Hindu Times

This ballot clearly just been done to gauge demand and establish a mailing list 🤦‍♂️

whats the point of a presale that anyone can sign up to? Could’ve used the NG / LG mailing lists or at least made people buy an album or something to deter the bots.

will have been spammed with 1000s of bot email addresses. Very very slim chance of success

Is there a new link? Still haven't got an email and the old link says ballot closed?

It’s not the ballot entry deadline that’s been extended, just the deadline for confirming entry. Presumably they’re thinking that not all of the emails will be with people in time for 9am tomorrow

Anyone who was on the new Oasis mailing list as of March is guaranteed a code, though you can't rule out that actually being based on cross referencing to the others, or purchases from the store. No idea what numbers they're going for with the rest

Oh, right you are then. So why mention the 10am deadline? I couldn't give a monkeys what time they're setting themselves to process the applications - all they needed to say was you will hear by 5pm tomorrow because of demand

There are seating options up to £200 so I'm guessing £150+ for lower.

I might just look at standing for a stadium to go alongside Heaton Park if I can bag one in the pre-sale

That makes more sense.  So 70 odd for the back 5/10 rows upper and behind the stage.  £100 ish for better seats upper tier and then £150-200 for lower

I see they have fully embraced the idea of rubbish packages. I wonder how many tickets will be allocated for these and are these the ones that will be pushed first to those who get the pre-sale.

I know they'll go like hot cakes but that's f**king ludicrous money to watch that warmed up old shite.

Prices for tickets are insane these days mind. Festivals offer much better value.

I'll pay it this time, but if Oasis end up touring again over the coming years, I'll stick to festivals if they play them.

    • Absolutely love her record, System. Definitely an album that rewards a bit of commitment.   She's right on my must-see list. Hoping she's in the Walled Garden, as I think her sound might be a bit muddy if she's early-ish in Far Out.   Ben
    • Same here, I kept trying to go on A View From My Seat to see if each block was worth it. So vague!
    • Ok, I’ve had time to process the experience now, so here is my review.   The good Barcelona - what a beautiful place! What lovely people! The city was like another headliner. Stayed in El Poblenou, and the bars, cafes and restaurants were perfect. Avalanches - Absolutely spectacular, euphoric set. Fantastic stage. Possibly enhanced by substances that I timed right, for a change. Added bonus that I don’t really remember the queue. The Cure - I’ve been a fan for 34 years, and never got round to seeing them, so this was a dream come true. The XX - The sound was exceptional. The lights and setlist perfect, giving each member their moment. Was really loud where I was standing (between the front and the sound desk), but i didn’t notice any chatters - even during the quieter moments. Also loved Men I Trust, .bd. , Big Thief, NewDad and Gorillaz. The food within Parc Del Fòrum was also a lot better than I was expecting.   The bad People talking non-stop throughout some of the sets, and shouting to be heard over the music. I had to move 3 times during Wet Leg just to be able to hear the band over the crowd. It’s probably an age thing, but I just don’t understand it. You’ve paid how much to watch these acts, and now you’re standing with your back to the stage, missing the music and ruining the experience for everyone else? Odd behaviour.   The weather apocalypse on Thursday. I genuinely thought I would be able to tough it out. I couldn’t. Left after Geese. The lack of communication from Primavera didn’t help.   Whilst it was lovely to be by the sea, and the sunsets were very pretty, the site is a bit…concrete-y, isn’t it? I kind of longed for some grass and trees. Often found ourselves standing on the steps by the Adidas yard by some bamboo. This was probably a subconscious need for some nature. The fact that some of the nature included cockroaches did not negatively affect the experience.   My daughter, for running away when she saw the drug dogs in the queue on Thursday, meaning that I lost her for the whole evening. She hid her stash under a bench, and it miraculously survived the storms.   Also, can someone explain the point in having a wristband, when you still have to show your ticket every time you enter and leave the site?   Finally, I would like to nominate myself as one of the bad things about this year’s Primabera. I should have done Primavera a lot better. It was my first one, so I’m still learning, but I think I left too early on the Thursday. Left after the Cure on Friday, so I would be full of energy on Saturday, and then barely made it to the end of Gorillaz anyway, meaning I missed Overmono, Skrillex, Skullcrusher, Kneecap, and a few more I would have liked to see.   All in all Amazing lineup. Decent food options. Cupra and Cupra Pulse stages were very impressive. Weather was perfect for 3 out of the 4 days i attended.   It was always likely to be a ‘one and done’ for me, but we had a blast, even if I am starting to get too old for all this.
