I am interested in football. It's a distraction I could do without at Glastonbury though. Pre smartphone era I can see why they would show games but anyone who wants to watch it can do so now and a contemporary performing arts festival shouldn't be having to cater for football fans.

Courtney Love has been rather weirdly venerated on 6Music lately so guessing something is cooking. I mean I don't mind a few Hole tunes but there was some hagiographical thing going on that seemed totally out of proportion to her output.

That Smile fee info is a weird one but the person who shared it was bang on the money on about a few things - Woodsies Saturday line-up and/or LCD and PJ Harvey on the Pyramid, as far as I remember.

Should we put any stock in Glastonbury following The Smile on Twitter? I mean they don't follow that many accounts, relatively speaking. Could be innocuous of course, or perhaps they thought they were bagged but talks broke down, as has been implied on here. Still holding out hope for the purported TBA on Woodsies.
