Aurora forecasts

Northern Hemisphere

No geomagnetic activity is forecast over the next couple of days. However, two Coronal Mass Ejections may combine to give a glancing blow at Earth either later on 05 June or early on 06 June. This may lead to aurora mainly over northern Scotland and similar latitudes, but any sightings of aurora will be limited due to short night time hours at high latitudes in the northern hemisphere.

Weekend looks ok 👍

There's an outdoors people saying

there's no such thing as bad weather – only bad clothing

For context I grew up in Wales and now live in Cumbria, and I strongly disagree with this saying. I might be wearing all the right gear, but if the weather's shit, then the weather's shit and no amount of Gore-Tex is going to change that!

Care less about what it does over the weekend than what it does coming in - have visions of it pissing down on me waiting in the snake in on Wed AM for 6 hours.....

We braved the overnight queue in 2016.  It basically pissed down on us on and off all night and thanks to the miracle of the pound shop poncho we didn't give a shit and were relatively dry when we pitched up.
