    Wargasm?

I was also one of 30 at Dub War, they were incredible but really suffered with lack of crowd. The Sugababes situation at Avalon completely messed up the traffic flow, it took us about 20 minutes extra to get around and once we got to the Iicon stage, it was completely empty in the whole area around those stages. After seeing how quickly Brass Against went from about 5 people to full in about 20 minutes on Saturday night, it definitely confirmed it.
  2. 1. Olivia Rodrigo 2. Skunk Anansie 3. Turnstile Honourable mentions: Mr Bruce, Brass Against, Dub War
  3. Good game, Nal. It’s been emotional. 💚
  4. I’m about 20 miles south of Pilton as the crow flies. My weather app is showing it’s currently 15 degrees and I’m sat outside in shorts and very comfortable. It’s gonna fine! The temperature tomorrow looks glorious and judging by how forecast to reality has gone over the past week, we’ll get some light showers that’ll keep the dust at bay whilst we’re living out best lives. The only maps we’ll care about are ones that tell us where we need to be. It’s nearly show time, people!
  5. Not actually sure, it’s just always been this way.
  6. Weird and downbeat posts this afternoon. Have the Weather Pro forecast as a counter.
  7. Welcome to The Nal show...
  8. This graph is an accurate depiction of my heart rate until we get a more accurate picture.
  9. 24 hours in the weather thread...
  10. 98 was my first year. I was at the front for Lightning Seeds and Robbie Williams, the mud was half way up my thighs and I'm 6'6". That weekend nearly broke me.
  11. Nice, that would be ideal. Great info, cheers, that walking distance will be good for the first timers in our group.
  12. Does anyone who’s taken the Taunton coach know how long it takes from bus stop to the gate? We’re getting the 9:15 coach and are weighing up our camping options.
  13. I completely forgot about the carry on bag option, I reckon we could probably load up a rucksack with a decent amount of stuff. Cheers!
  14. This was the kind of thing I was thinking, thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
  15. That's what I'd heard. I'd hate to be driving away from a pile of beer so it might have to be the bus to Shepton. I once walked to Shepton from the site but I'm not sure that's even an option any more.
  16. Not sure if this is the best place to ask but it is coach related and I didn't want to start a new topic. We're going by coach for the first time this year having previously driven in from fairly near by. Obviously there's a massive difference in the amount of stuff we can take so our alcohol limit is drastically reduced. If we have someone from Shepton Mallet who could bring us some extras, what would be the best plan of attack? At the moment, the only thing I can think of would be meeting them at the showground drop off, but that would still be a trek. Is there any way of them getting closer? Alternatively, what have people got away with bringing on the coach in the past?
  17. I dipped out of Muse in 2010 about a third of the way in as I'd seen them at their Teignmouth gig at the end of 2009 and the set was note for note, word for word (including the in between songs routine) identical. I wondered around for a bit and stumbled upon George Clinton with P Funk at West Holts. Easily the best dip out I've ever made, just wish I'd done it earlier.
