Yeah, Bevan is definitely the most talented musician in Foals.

I really liked Holy Fire when it came out. Still a good album, but doesn't have the impact of the other two when you go back to it. Still think Providence is one of the best songs they've ever done though.

Dunno if their next album will be as big as Holy Fire but festivals will be looking to them to start headlining I expect to strengthen the pool and all that.

QOTSA would be immense, Like Clockwork was easily their best since Songs For The Deaf. Not sure they quite have the name in this country to headline Glastonbury though.

Only caught the second half of their Other Stage set in 2011. Mrs Jass wanted to see Beyonce, I wanted to see Queens. We decided on half and half - a compromise that satisfied no-one.

I will never understand this - why did you not each see what you wanted to see? Are you joined at the hip or something?

Remember seeing Foals supporting Sunshine Underground at the Ritz in 2007 - think they were actually on before Rumble Strips too!

They've got better with each album released. If they keep that up with the next one I think a headline slot (maybe next year) would fit Emily's model of working a band up to the Pyramid stage perfectly.

1st time I saw Foals was Leeds Festival 2008 (even got photo with them at the NME signing thingie) they were great and over the years they have just got better, really love Holy Fire which really worked in there live sets, was down the front at the barrier for their 2013 Glasto set it was just amazing I was totally one happy bunny

someone mentioned above about Leeds 2013 have to agree crowd was shocking for them and White lies who were on before which was strange as usually both bands get a total love in at Leeds...

Still remember the first time I heard Inhaler. Absolutely baffled me. Thought they'd turned into Deftones or something. Note that I'd never heard Total Life Forever so was expecting something Antidotes-esque.

I thought they were actually gonna start sliding down festival lineups before Holy Fire arrived. Definitely don't think that now. Hope they turn up this year. Providence is a fucking amazing song.

I will say when I watched the Glasto 2013 coverage of Foals i really did think it sounded really shouty but it sounded so much better being there....

Spanish Sahara is a great tune live, total slow build but tingling....out of new album I love Providence and of the 1st album Cassius (but they never play that on their sets these days) but you know in my mind it takes time to truly love a band it's not a overnight thing IMO

Providence is absolutely massive, best track on that album for me, I would actually agree with Matt in saying it's probably the best track they've ever made, they really came away with a new dimension on Holy Fire I think, the way they are going I can only see this new album being even better!!

Yeah Foals are great. Never properly got into them until just before Holy Fire came out, basically when Inhaler came out, but saw them a couple of times on that tour and they were really good. It's been mentioned already but Providence is fantastic, sounds massive live.

Ehh, I found Foals on the Other Stage hella boring in 2013. Sound just seemed to drift off into the air and it lost the intensity they usually have. Worst of the times I've seen them anyway but I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

I absolutely love Foals, (for full disclosure), and totally agree that they are one of the best live bands on the UK circuit. I'm convinced they'll headline one day, but they've not got the song catalogue for the masses yet.

Saying that, I saw them a few times last year, and they've generally been incredible but at Primavera Sound, they were disappointing - don't get me wrong, they didn't play badly, but, it almost felt they'd phoned it in.
