no chance are they ever a headline band for a major festival.

some decent tunes, but thats about it. i woukld suggest they have now peaked and will be fast going down festival lineup bills.

Totally so don't agree with this as they have just got better and better, they are totally solid live and can only see them growing as a band

brilliant on the main stage at Electric Picnic last year.

a couple of big singles on the next album and could see Glastonbury bumping them up, although R&L or TITP are more likely to take the chancefirst...

Would love it to be the Stone Roses. Went to both Heaton Park and Finsbury park such good shows but very doubtful it will happen.

Apart from their Reading 2013 set, I've only ever heard fantastic things about Foals live.

Two Steps, Twice on the Pyramid would be unreal.

Foals being bumped up from Other sub to Pyramid sub two years later with no new material would be a bizarre booking. it's not like they have a huge back catalogue of songs to choose from - they'd play almost exactly the same set, as they have been doing for the past two years. definitely don't see it myself. definitely see them headlining Reading next year though (and then possibly Glastonbury come the next album if they maintain the upward trajectory)

Antidotes and the EPs from the early era are phenomenal, I've been less impressed with the later offerings, but they still nail it live. They're one of the best live bands on the circuit, and they deserve their success.

I saw them play t'Other in '08 and thought they sounded ace then. No comparison to last year however. The drummer is fucking MINDBLOWING btw.

I didn't think they were that amazing at Werchter, I mean they were still really good and a huge improvement on Leeds 13 (which was mostly poor due to the crowd), but it didn't come close to Rock City in 2013. That's up there with one of the best live shows I've seen.

Remember seeing Foals supporting Sunshine Underground at the Ritz in 2007 - think they were actually on before Rumble Strips too!

They've got better with each album released. If they keep that up with the next one I think a headline slot (maybe next year) would fit Emily's model of working a band up to the Pyramid stage perfectly.

Didn't you, I was so impressed, it was an absolute trance everything from the lightning to the setlist was perfect I though, I saw them at the o2 in glasgow on that tour, which is shite, and they had sound issues at the end right in Two Steps, Twice, nightmare!!

Think Holy Fire is considerably worse than Total Life Forever and Antidotes but by the looks of things the songs translate pretty well live.

was pretty impressed with Foals at bestival, after also being disappointed by them at Reading 2013
