What did he have on his backdrop last time? 'United Kingdumb'? He's proper taking the piss with those prices. Man of the people, eh?

Thats over twice what I paid to see him December. Whats the deal with the increases on this leg of the tour?

And its not like he has a huge bloated stage show either. A big screen and a projector. A house screen and projector.

Great gig though it has to be said. One of the last great singers. In the classic sense.

Fucking hell. Sure he was only about £35 in manchester in 2012 the last time I saw him..

Ive paid just over £80 for ACDC this year, thats as much as I can afford to be honest.

Prince last year was about £75, think that's the only time I've paid over £55. Most arena gigs are around £40-£45 from my experience.

Edit Justin Timberlake I paid £90. But that was less than ten rows from the front for the greatest stage production I've ever seen so worth it :P

Talking of value for money, just did some very rough calculations and worked out that to see everyone I saw last year at Glasto on the main stages (Pyramid, Other, WH & JP) would have cost roughly £650.

Obviously you get longer sets from everyone doing their own gigs, but it still demonstrates what fantastic value Glastonbury is. That's before everything else you get there and five days free camping.

Fleetwood Mac and Prince on one line up would be sticking the boot into glastonbury, just a little bit. How deep are Giddings pockets? That would be one expensive set of headliners for a festival.

you seen the rest of the line-up?

It was a good gig, certainly nowhere near his best though & the crowd seemed to be full of c**ts.

Full of Mozz heads throwing gladioli at him?

;)

I love the guy. Starting with Queen is Dead would've been epic. Great to see him back strutting around the place after his health concerns.

Highest I've ever paid was £60-odd for Black Sabbath/Radiohead/Muse (and they lowered their prices for the following stadium tour).

Actually, after seeing Queen in Newcastle my dad went mad and started trying to get us tickets for any other local shows of theirs, and all he could get was box tickets at Nottingham for like £140, but I'd never pay anything close to that myself; crazy money.

Reviews of that gig were poor. Youre one of the only people Ive seen delighted with it.

Anyone who didn't enjoy it is a lazy fucker. Just wanting the old hits verbatim.. There were 7 of us at it and we all loved it. And I was the only one with the new album!

People wanted 100% Smiths greatest hits obviously. But the new stuff was great and he played loads of it (which is what I was after), his voice was really great and he opened with The Queen is Dead.

Also Asleep was was on the most moving songs I've seen at a gig.

Also a quick google shows Hotpress didn't think it was poor. Either did Meg. Or State. First 3 results that came up. All loved it.

Mad to think the price of the Morrissey gigs - he's playing a festival over in Spain which I went to last year (as I was studying there) and tickets are 48 euros all together for the two days; Morrissey, The National, Metronomy, The Vaccines, 2manydjs and Palma Violets
