Beak will be on the park stage at some point. Spoke to them after a gig in Dublin.

This is fantastic news. Their 2016 set in Williams Green is one of my all time favourites, particularly for the repeated 'Have you seen what they said about us in the programme?' jibes. Alle Sauvage will go down a right treat mid-afternoon.

Yeah this is only my second time seeing them after that Williams Green set, such a good band.

Not a self confirmation as such, but should be added to the rumours page

I wonder where they would play?

Despite getting bigger and bigger, and doing stuff with Jake Bugg and now Noel Gallagher apparently they don't seem interested in developing a live show (or even playing some of their biggest hits when they DJ) so I can't see them getting promoted from Sonic headliners which they only did last year, or possibly playing Arcadia after the headliners?

Here's a good one for you...

My girlfriend's mum went to see Fisherman's Friends in Oxford last night. She says they self-confirmed that they are playing Glasto 😂

I had a nap in the acoustic tent listening to them in '16, a serene moment in a weekend of chaos.

I didn't really know about them until the film last year. I hope they get an opening Pyramid slot if they are playing

    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
    • Ive always had a lot of time for the mighty Shots, a pal of mine used to commentate on their games for Sussex Counties radio and he'd sneak me into the ground for midweek games, and we'd even nick a tea and a plate of sandwiches. This is back in the George Borg days, so um . . a little while ago now
    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.
