  1. I didn’t manage to bag Manchester tickets either - was a nightmare! What’s tomorrow’s presale if you don’t mind?
  2. How concerned do we need to be about the weather? BBC showing showers and thunderstorms which is worrying me a bit!
  3. Libertines, Blossoms, Crowded House, Wolf Alice, Phoebe B, Sam Fender, Billie Eilish Kikagaku Moyo, Brass Against, Self Esteem, Haim, Noel G, Paul McCartney Sports Team, Lianne La Havas, Diana Ross, Elbow, Lorde, Kenny
  4. Phoebe Self Esteem Billie Honourable mentions for Blossoms, Wolf Alice, Lorde & Kenny. Didn’t really see a bad set bar The Libs.
  5. Not sure which day but Self Esteem is supposedly doing a secret set on Crow’s Nest.
  6. I’d be keen for this if possible?
  7. Quick update! Everything happened in quick succession. SeeTickets site updated on Friday and the tracking email came shortly after. Tickets were delivered on the Saturday. Very relieved now that I’ve got my hands on them!
  8. I’ve finally had an update on the SeeTickets page. It now says tickets have been sent to the courier.
  9. We’ve still had no updates. SeeTickets still saying tickets will be despatched shortly. Received an automated email back when we asked for an update. Feeling nervous!
  10. We’re still waiting on our tickets. No update on delivery page. Have sent a message to SeeTickets but no reply yet. Starting to get really worried with two weeks to go…
  11. So turns out it’s Bastille. Bit disappointing for me I must say!

  13. I believe Aerosmith have cancelled their entire summer tour so think this likely rules them out
  14. Had a few gigs since things have opened up again: Damon Albarn: This was when things were still locked down slightly which gave the venue (GMEX) a slightly odd vibe but he was on great form and played a cracking set - I really enjoyed it having not yet had chance to see the likes of Blur or Gorillaz in the flesh. New Order: Not usually a huge fan of gigs at Heaton Park but this one was pretty special. Couple of great support acts in Working Mens Club and Hot Chip (Who were probably my highlight of the evening) as well. Only real complaint was the price of beer (£6 for a warm can of Carlsberg). Lighting and atmosphere were sensational. Top notch. Chic feat Nile Rodgers: I've never been to a Warehouse Project gig before but I'm delighted that this one was my first. Was a shame that Craig Charles pulled out but Chic (as expected) delivered an absolute barn stormer. Few bands can rattle off number ones like they can. Crowd weren't quite sure what to make of it, mind - seems like quite a few just go to Warehouse regardless of who's on. Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbot: Castlefield Bowl is maybe tied for my favourite venue in Manchester - never had a bad night there. This was no exception. Vocals were unreal and had just the nicest, friendly vibe and an unbeatable setlist of hits to boot. Didn't catch the support (The Skints). The Courteeners: I know they get a bad rap round these parts and rightfully so in many respects. I'd got tickets for this because of the sensational support bands - The Big Moon, Blossoms and Johnny Marr. Real liked the cricket ground as a venue - particularly early on when the sun was shining and the beers were flowing. Big Moon are one of my favourite acts around at the moment and managed to win round quite a few of the crowd around us. Blossoms were fine though were clearly way too big to be playing third down at this kind of gig. Huge queues meant we missed most of Marr but what we caught was spellbinding. Courteeners did the job and did it well enough!
  15. Haha thank you, thought it might prove controversial! It just embraces a lot of the fantastical weirdness that comes through in the comics, which a lot of the other films shy away from. Not every film needs to be a zany quip-fest!
  16. If we're doing top 10s... 10. Avengers: Endgame 9. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 8. Avengers Assemble 7. Doctor Strange 6. Guardians of the Galaxy 5. Avengers: Infinity War 4. Black Panther 3. Thor: The Dark World 2. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 1. Iron Man 3
  17. First few replies actually seem surprisingly on board!
