Ouch.  Couldn't go in 2014, and never looked at Metallica's set at all as I knew it'd be a kick in the chops.  That is a glorious run.

What did they do about Marianne Faithfull's vocals for Memory Remains?  Did she rock up for a guest spot or did they just backing track it?

I nearly went first 8:

Creeping Death

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Wherever I May Roam

Sad but True

Fade to Black

Cyanide

The Unforgiven

The Memory Remains

(Sorry)

Whiskey in the Jar is a load of cobblers though

I remember being disappointed they opted for a cover but it went down really well. If they had to do a cover they should've gone with So What.

Follow Me
Let It Be
I Saw Her Standing There
Helter Skelter
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The End

These are the two answers. Although TBF the recent Macca setliets would be even better imo.

That could actually be The End of this debate. Everybody squabbles and then McCartney walks into the room and you see everyone looking at their shoes in silence.

Surprised we haven't had this yet, or are we just on Pyramid headliners?

Us v Them
Daft Punk Is Playing at My House
I Can Change
Get Innocuous!
You Wanted a Hit
Tribulations
Movement
Yeah
Someone Great
Losing My Edge
New York, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down
Dance Yrself Clean
All My Friends

No point narrowing down to 8; whole thing was beautiful.

I managed to keep my eyes dry during No Surprises and Fake Plastic Tears. But when the opening notes of Creep started, it ruined me.

I dunno why but the song that got me was fake plastic trees. Managed to keep it together for most the set.

Thing is, we all talk about Fleetwood Mac as being the "big one". As in one of the few major bands still going that has yet to play Glastonbury. But I mean... would they really be that good?

Well they’ve been getting rave reviews during their Australian stint. My partner’s off to see them in Melbourne tonight (Saturday) so I’ll get the lowdown from her.

It’s difficult to imagine anything other than an enormous success on the Pyramid next June.
