True - and they announced Ed last as well didn't they, and he was by far the biggest name of those headliners.

I always tend to think they want to get the biggest name announced ASAP, but maybe there's more merit to holding them off until the Spring.

It's not anyway, it's no bigger booking than Adele and The Stones are the biggest booking Glastonbury will make for a long time given there isn't anyone who comes bigger, even FM I think are only on the same level as that.

I don't get why people are riled up by anyone headlining (unless they have done it recently or loads - i.e. Coldplay).... or if they are just an internet troll

Id take Stereophonics on the Other stage tbf, more than a good alternative. 

The Courteeners can do one though, they seem to play every festival these days.
