Reckon she could be announced in the next month or so.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if they announced it right after T-Day tbh. They've got in the habit of announcing a headliner nice and early, and for the first 50th announcement she's pretty much the biggest name they could announce.

That's what I'm thinking.

Just seen this, dude.

Unles things have moved on (although I saw you only finished this week) I'll have a word with my friend who's published (wellbeing-type stuff) and has done ghost writing (Peter Jones of Dragon Den's book) and i'll keep you posted via the usual channels.

More importantly:

Are we all in it? :)

You'll need to come on an adventure with me for that! Sounds like an interesting lead though! I saw the notification of a mention and presumed you'd heard me sigh all the way in Andover after I saw Taylor appear as a rumour on the board. Bye bye ticket chances.

2019: Kendrick Lamar // Fleetwood Mac // Taylor Swift

2020: The 1975 // Arctic Monkeys // Elton John

Sounds good to me

and from the other side....

This time last year The Cure announced a run of Euro dates. Glastonbury was announced in April.

To you, maybe. I suspect many people are just not arsed

I'd be elsewhere, but would understand the size of the booking. I like at least one night away from the Pyramid anyway (or three this year) so she can have at it!

I remember 2009 me thinking Glastonbury was for old fogies and Q magazine readers, that little scamp's tiny mind would've been blown by the knowledge he'd be down there watching his faves Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift a decade later.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
