This Hot Chip presale is quite strange, its a preauthorisation raffle to enter for tickets to their 4 brixton dates (which is weird given they aren't going to sell out anytime soon!)

Exactly what we were talking about for Glastonbury a few weeks ago. The website is called Planet Fans

Looks like it’s an error on their website. Has all of Jungle’s show dates on Hot Chip’s website as well as their own.

Yeah I don't think there'll be any danger of an instant sell out for these, even at £24 a ticket.

Hoping there’s more UK dates to come for Hot Chip. Otherwise labelling it a UK/EU tour is a complete pisstake.

Yeah, always frustrating when bands call something a UK tour and only play London. I guess technically it is a UK/EU tour but oh well.

I'm trying to make an effort to travel to less gigs so, even at £24, will give these a miss I think. Imagine they'll do a proper UK tour not too long after this run of dates.

He's still got Finsbury tickets to shift, which is very surprising.

guessing tour dates soon

Was there an image or anything? I'd love to know more, I'm desperate to see them this year. If anyone knows if they're playing Manchester please let me know and what venue if so.

Gonna hazard a guess at it being the arena if that’s what they’re doing in Birmingham.

Presume he'll add birmingham and London once that's done

I was really hoping for him to be at Glastonbury. Having said that Pilton Party is first week of September, think he'd fit the bill perfectly if you consider the size of some artists that play (Bastille, Fatboy Slim etc).

Excellent- Manchester or Liverpool and I'm there! Assume with them on sale next Friday that we'll get a Monday announcement.

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
