Got tickets for Chvrches "intimate" pre tour show at Glasgow, just went on sale today.

Bit of an odd one though, if you wanted just a ticket to the show you could only buy 1 per address, however if you got an album bundle you could buy several. So, me and my mates will all now have a CD of their new album which we're unlikely to ever use!

Thanks for that! Picked up two chic tickets for £23 per ticket. Absolute bargain!

Saw these on Friday at Scarborough. Picked up two tickets at half price, which were back row in the far corner. We arrived and the seats were covered and we were told our tickets had been moved to competition winning tickets. When I saw the new seats I couldn't believe it! We were moved to the front row in the centre block. £22 for the best seats in the house and Chic were unbelievable

Youre lucky. The show theyre playing on friday in Los Angeles is by lottery. £45 to be in a 200 cap venue.

The point of the shows is to sell albums for a higher charting position. For the bundles to qualify for the charts, they have to demonstrate that there was the option to buy tickets on their own as well. Naturally, they want to limit the number of people who actually opt for the ticket only option as it defeats the point of them doing the gigs (hence the 1 per address restrictions, satisfies the criteria for the charts without denting the album purchases.)

Anyone in the Brighton area fancy a Dreadzone ticket at Concorde2 for Friday 17th Sep?  Looks like I can't make it now, so giving first dibs on here before I pop it on Twickets.  Tix are all sold out, so this'll be your best chance if you fancy it. Face value only, obvs.

DM me if interested.

she’s comfortably sold out the Eventim Apollo and Brixton before and by the time this tour comes around, the hype will be greater

bit strange to me to announce this before officially announcing album 2 but I think it will do just fine. also she is one great performer!

    • Elastica posted last night teasing a return, wonder where they would play if they reformed?
    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
