It's not amazing but it's certainly a step up from what you'll get with, say, Catfish and the Lads.

Yeah, also Love Me has elements of a social commentary, albeit wrapped up so tightly in a big fat juicy box of bubblegum pop you'd struggle to notice. As you say they're not Kendrick Lamar but they're not McFly either.

Either that or they've decided to run VB in years when the main fest is on after all ... even with the strength of Glastonbury's brand, cancelling the main fest twice in four years would be risky

I agree with you there, it's just the "if your music isn’t purposefully informative, then there’s no point to it" is a bit silly when they're not a particularly political band.

I reckon the 'little something before' that Emily refers to will probably be the announcement of the legend act early march and then a couple of weeks to the first poster mid march.

I would love to think it's a long running in joke that he always wears shorts. As soon as he gets home he wacks on some jeans and a roll neck sweater, or smoking jacket.

Sounds like we'll get something at the start of March, with probably Ed (plus legend?) announced before. Presumably some of the bands on the first poster have some shows to announce/try and sell before they can release the names.

Wife saw him in Castle Cary station a few weeks back. In shorts. Legs looking like last chicken in the shop. But at least he had socks on - which he didnt seem to have last night. Worlds going to wrack and ruin.
