There’s no way the Pyramid is female, it was ready first ?

<ducks and runs for cover>

It's only the Park stage that is male as that gets ready without all the fuss!

Do we have any idea what the structure spanning The Park stage is for? Are we expecting screens?

Looks like a similar structure to the one that supports the screens at West Holts...

Thinking about it, is the Pyramid the only female stage?

If I were a lesser poster, this is where I'd throw in some comment about the Pussy Parlour, but quite frankly that level of smut is beneath me and degrades us all.

I see what you mean - the stuff on top is surely new?

Well it's certainly different, question is - what's it for? Perhaps just decoration, I can't imagine they'll have screens at that height.

Could it be for the artwork? Maybe its more substantial this year?

Perhaps they're replacing the 2 Eygptian? columns that sat either side. Perhaps the Park is getting a whole new makeover and a new theme with that archway by the entrance going as well. We know that bars and the Rabbit Hole have moved and that the Wormhole is a new venue. And Glastonbury on Sea looks to be part of the Park.

Oh! the speculation is endless. Exciting few weeks ahead.

I'm sure Emilie said something about The Park having a makeover during the fallow year as it was 10 years old. Maybe I imagined that but it does look like there are quite a few changes planned.

The stuff on top and the supports going back are new aren't they? Looks like screens to me

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
