I like that there's a theme of headliners having previously had big publicity-baiting beefs with the subs, and they're all pally now. Glastonbury Festival Of Contemporary Performing Arts 2015: The "let's all get along" edition.

Maybe we'll see Matt42 and Russycarps sharing a cider at the back of the Pyramid stage crowd

Hang on, I like Jay-Z, but I still have to ask what the fuck you were playing at watching him, Massive Attack were on the Other.

I was going to see massive attack but it was weird, there was a really big buzz about the festival on the Saturday about Jay z playing that night. Everyone I spoke to was going to see him and were pumped about it. I got wrapped up in all the hype and the massive attack plan was quickly ditched.

I can honestly say that opening video to his set was one of my best Glastonbury moments, the anticipation was unbelievable. It was just perfectly judged. That field was absolutely electric.

Then the first song started and I stood there numb with disbelief while a furious black man shouted at me for 90 mins.

Sign me up to your team, that would be a terrific set of headliners, although you'll need to swap Saturday for Sunday or Tay won't play. Glasto doesn't need it but if either Kanye or Taylor featured in the other's set, that would equal immediate global headlines. Noel appearing with Damon would create a massive buzz as well.

I think the only names I'd be equally or more pleased about seeing would be Prince or Madonna.

I have heard Diana Ross mentioned, well someone on my facebook liked a post by Meatloaf who had been to see Diana, exclaiming that she was fantastic.

So whilst we may as well say every name so that at least someone is right, I will throw in a Diana Ross, and what about Meatloaf???

2008 was a very good festival.

I was going to see massive attack but it was weird, there was a really big buzz about the festival on the Saturday about Jay z playing that night. Everyone I spoke to was going to see him and were pumped about it. I got wrapped up in all the hype and the massive attack plan was quickly ditched.

That bloody hype got us into a bit of bother and had us late for Massive Attack in the end. Was watching Amy Winehouse and went to head over to the Other via the markets and was met by one of the scariest crowd issues i have been in ever (and I have been in a few hairy crowds in my time). A lot of people were trying to get away from the Pyramid ASAP and a lot of folk were trying to get in at the same time. It made for a very unpretty experience. As the crowding got tighter and tighter people ended up climbing stall fences and trees etc to get out of it. I will admit that I started to get extremely concerned when I was saying to the Mrs to hold on to me as tightly as she could but we ended up being separated.............There was lots of panic in the air, screaming, shouting, kids crying etc etc. Scary shit really

Alls well that ends well, but the Love/Hate for Jay Zizzle near resulted in something God awful.............lucky for us and the festival it didnt come to that and the crowd (irrespective of inebriated states) managed to realize what was going on and get it together to work as one and resolve it............this is still a vivid dark memory from Glasto for me and one I will not forget. Cant really remember Massive Attack that night. We stood at the back drinking and smoking and basically trying to digest what we had just experienced.

The worst I ever got caught up in was in '13 when the arcadia spider was a stones throw from the other stage. Complete madness

Silver Hayes is a nightmare at the best of times, even worse if it's muddy. I'm only ever down that way of goping from Other to JP, but nowadays I prefer to go around.

I got caught in that. Just trying to pass through on the way back towards the tent and then Amy finished... Wasn't very pleasant at all. Headed back into watch Jay-Z once it had calmed down a bit.

The worst crush I experienced was at Glastonbury 2000 - we had watched Moby on the Other stage and then were going over the main stage for the Chemical Brothers. Got completely trapped in the crowd and although me and my wife thought fuck it lets not bother, we could do nothing but surge forward with everyone else. We were finally spat out into the pyramid field and did watch the Chemical Brothers. It was a scary few minutes though and if the crowd hadn't stayed calm I'm sure someone would have been hurt.

Yeah, been in a few of those over the years, into REM in '99 was my worst. Generally people tend to be friendly and try to be considerate in these situations, thankfully, often you'll hear a few comedy gems amongst the people you're smushed against.

Worst I've seen was for the Stones in 2013. Felt like the whole of Glastonbury was trying to squeeze into the Pyramid Field for that one. We were pretty near the front and literally couldn't move, me, my other half and couple of mates decided to sack it off and watch from the back. There was no way we'd have got out were it not for a mother with a pushchair(!!) trying to get out next to us so we followed her. To this day I'll never know what possessed that woman to take a pushchair that close to the Stones, but secretly I'm glad she did.
