Yeah, that's the perfect Sunday night headliner. Stevie Wonder levels of atmosphere

Can. Not. Wait. for this.  Will be an all timer.  Saw him in Dublin in 2019, sang and danced my ass off.

Think he closes with the Britney version and plays the REGular one earlier and yes lip sync or not It’s Britney bitch

I swear all the discussion now is going to be that Elton needs 20 guests during his set or its not going to be good at all. If he has none at all theres going to be a swath of you lot saying it was a stinker, just watch.

Just funny theres ridiculous demands for a set that has what everyone wants to begin with.

I think it's just speculation born of excitement.  It's a great day for us, please don't piss all over it!

Worth noting.

Dua Lipa performed with Elton last night at Dodgers Stadium, his last ever US show.

As did Bruce Springsteen with Paul McCartney this year.

Can only expect the same thing at Glasto 🤞🏼

KiKi Dee too. Has to happen. Not expecting Brandi Carlisle though.

    • 2 really good albums IMO. Fun, really good musicians, energetic, can dance to it.    I'd take that over the couple of dozen twee ernest singer songwriter 2 chord dross acts on the bill most years.
    • They will have strictly 14 days to comply, at the end of which they will strictly have another 14 days to comply.
    • Bonobo has a new album out in September.  Touring the US the end of this year, so hopefully UK dates and festivals in 2027.  Would make a superb Park headliner.
    • I was following up to pink_triangle's post about what Reform are saying they will do to find money for defence spending.   But with Labour, they may well water down or delay some of the net zero commitments, they may find ways to cut welfare spending with Pat McFadden's welfare review thing, but I don't think it's going to be near enough. They really tied themselves down with the tax commitments in their manifesto, just reversing Hunt's NI cuts would have gone a long way. Under Burnham I think they may try and reform some of the tax system, land taxes and levies etc. Certainly needs reforming. But that might all be after a general election if Labour were to win.  I reckon they will try and do something with fiscal rules to borrow more, and try and persuade markets to go along with them.  (and he's already rowed back on that waspi thing...I think his team and others in Labour had a word).
